I've lowkey been wanting to cover this song ever since I started making music, but I could never think of a way to do it justice. The Chrono Trigger sample library allowed me some interesting arrangement opportunities and I'm happy that I finally got to make my own take on this classic song.

crash bandicoot is one of my favorite series of all time (if it wasnt obvious) but due to the unique nature of the game its kinda hard to make covers in the soundfont, i tried tho!

Cruel Land

Done by request. It was relatively easy, so I had a bit of fun widdit. All I had to do was acquire a ROM of SS Ultra, then work on basically fitting the sequence to work with the original Setting Sun project (this mostly translated to making it go from 73 BPM to 115 via the Ctrl+Shift stretch thingy). Not posting a MIDI for it until I myself have copied it all over by hand. As it stands I've only "re-written" a couple Parts, thus far.

Update: I've updated the mix, and given the thumbnail a makeover. 

Why did it take me more than three days to notice I never finished that sentence before I updated it?

You've reached the home of the so-called "epic Wario" thing. I've a massive catalogue of waamixes and waarangements for yon nigras to peruse with hearty contentment, as they eat whole garlic loaves and shoulder bash their computer.

Sorry if uhhh the volume for tracks varies, or is just relatively all-over-the-place. Even though I usually keep my system vol. at 52, there have been times where I've changed it and forgot that I did, then started working on a project.

Q: Why do I use the Wario Land 4 soundfont to some capacity for so many tracks?
A: Because I love the way it sounds, obviously. Half the reason why I'll start making a MIDI in the first place is that I want to hear what it'd sound like with the Wario Land 4 soundfont.

One wonders how much of their fanbase thinks of ol' typhoidoa as "epic Wario man, *and ig some other stuff*" - the same sort of typecasting that has felled a number of UT Remix artists over the years.
