Fun fact about the melody: I looked at what key this song was in using FL's little Key Predictor tool and selected the corresponding scale under the Piano Roll's options menu, then just rearranged the notes into a cohesive tune. Really just a workaround way of having all my notes be in-key, but hey, I don't know shit about music theory other than what little I've retained from Music Foundations and what I've learned through experience

I actually composed something, holy shit! And it isn't too long-winded and samey like Gusty Woods before it! this is a huge deal for me :D I'm pretty proud atm, and I hope that doesn't change between now and later ' - '

I also made that character design. The shutters around the eye are exactly what they look like-- flexible shutters that follow dude's pupil, which as you can kinda tell is a concave shape. The pointy parts you see are gold and shiny. The rest is a shade of blue similar to the background, and has a texture akin to somebody's tongue.

*Appreciate it; altogether it took me something like 8/9 hours. The first 5/6 to listen, write down what I'm hearing, switch instruments, repeat over 200 times. Then, many months later, go through it all over again, this time to write down the Preset/Sound Bank relationships for each one, because I didn't the first time, and my laziness came back to haunt me once I started fiddling with Polyphone, intending to rename the WL4 presets and make my life easier.
