Instrumentations and/or Embellishments for MIDIs That Aren't Mine

Something for the fanfiction "Some Day You're Gonna Be Mine." In it, Frisk mentions a music box that used to play a soft melody. This is the first thing that came to mind.

Battle Against a Flippant Foe - Delfino Hotel Mix

My favorite Robot Master--er, Cortex Commando-- from Crash 3.
I got the original MIDI free with the Crash Bandicoot soundfont, as made by JexuBandicoot (a fellow transcriber on the interwebs). I made a few changes to it, so now it sounds more like the N. Sane Trilogy version (the superior version).

Dingodile (8-Bit) - Crash Bandicoot 3 (N. Sane Trilogy)

(A heavily modified version of the "veldt - wild west 2" MIDI on khinsider.)

The two songs seemed very similar in tone, and they're both from SNES RPGs, so I figured I'd just make a point of intersection, of sorts.

MIDI not by me. Instrumentation is by me, however... as is the case with a lot of my tracks. I do make my own stuff sometimes, I swear. Case in point: Tak stuff, Flash Man, Pokey Means Business, etc.

Crystal Caves (Underground BGM) - Yoshi's Island

Good for schoolwork, I think.
I don't know who made the MIDI, but I did fool around with the tempo and instrumentation.

I don't know who made the MIDI, but I used Touhou and OmegaGMGS2.

Air Man Remix - Sounds Kind of Like Surf Rock

I used the MIDI Keno provided way back when to attempt at recreating the original sound (which is still impossible until I get Shreddage).

Too bad I didn't know about FL's tendency to screw with literally every programmable slider until some time after Iestyn himself literally pointed out that the pitch bending wasn't there. Son of a bitch. I made a fool of myself in front of the person whose MIDI I like better than the original Mystic Mansion.

I loved this game when I was younger. Still remember some of the tunes too, like the Wilfre theme. The story was prolly stronger than the gameplay if I'm honest, but it was still decent, and that art was dope.

No MIDI just yet, as this particular version is an edit of the MIDI that you get with that "Ultimate Mother 3 rip," and as such has a whole bunch of inconviencing BPM changes. So it'll be a bit before I add it to the desc.

Also transcribing the Left Speaker's piano was fun :D

Another one of these WAAther 3 remixes, but this one's a bit more chill. Like with the last one, it's an edit of one of those "Ultimate Mother 3 Rip" MIDIs, though this one I didn't have to fiddle with as much.

I'm a firm believer that the best remixes enhance what made the originals great by adding upon them in a couple of noticeable yet subtle ways, rather than replace them and risk losing the feel of the original.

Wario Land 4 (for pretty much anything, because I love WL4's sound)
OmegaGMGS2 (My go-to soundfont strictly because of how many High Quality out-of-the-way instruments there are)
SGM V2.01 (For when the OmegaGM variations of instruments are lacking)
Touhou (Flute, Saxophones, as well as some Basses and Harpsichord, otherwise same as SGM, where it's to stand in for OmegaGMGS2)
Earthbound (for Overdriven Guitar and other Pokey-related instruments)
Mother 3 (for 8-Bit and Synth stuff, usually)

*Appreciate it; altogether it took me something like 8/9 hours. The first 5/6 to listen, write down what I'm hearing, switch instruments, repeat over 200 times. Then, many months later, go through it all over again, this time to write down the Preset/Sound Bank relationships for each one, because I didn't the first time, and my laziness came back to haunt me once I started fiddling with Polyphone, intending to rename the WL4 presets and make my life easier.
