Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Dutch dj & producer Drvg Cvltvre (New York Haunted).

Since the mid 90’s, Vincent Koreman a.k.a. Drvg Cvltvre has been working on his own blend of dystopian acid, no wave and experimental house.
Respected in the international underground for his groundbreaking work in experimental techno as RA-X in the 90′s on labels such as Bunker and KK Records, Koreman comes from a DIY punk background, opting for hard work rather than hollow pose.

Vincent is also the man behind New York Haunted, an imprint operating out of Tilburg, with contributions from artists such as Rapha, Ekman, Ole Mic Odd and Drvg Cvltvre himself.

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard Berghain and KHIDI resident and BITE label boss @phasefatale for its sixteenth episode of Amplify Series.

Phase Fatale is the Berlin-based techno project of Hayden Payne. Since 2014 the New York native has earned a reputation as a techno innovator, both for the broad spectrum of dystopian, gritty, industrial- laden electronics included in DJ sets as well as his deep understanding of synthesis and sound design in his own productions.
Having released his debut album on Hospital Productions (Redeemer, 2017) and 12"s on labels such as Jealous God, Ostgut Ton and its sub label unterton, Phase Fatale has since settled into residencies at both Berghain in Berlin as well as Khidi in Georgia's capital Tbilisi. In 2018 Payne launched his own label BITE, January 2020 sees release of his second album Scanning Backwards on Ostgut Ton.
Phase Fatale's sharpened rhythmic contours in the context of his DJ sets draw on a vast repertoire of new and classic references: dark ambient drones contrast with the raw, punchy dynamics of industrial and post-punk, cold wave aesthetics combine with 4/4 functionality – all stitched together meticulously with strong atmospheric sensibilities, careful and precise mixing.

Alpha Sect, a talented Greek producer and DJ, is no stranger to the world of vinyl and tape releases, having left his musical imprint on these formats. Roaring by Helena Markos is a symbol of feminine energy, inner strength, and empowerment. It is the sound of this force awakening slowly but fiercely, transforming everything around it. Roaring is also a sonic representation of physical, mental, and sexual healing.

The piece emerged during a time of deep questioning when a significant amount of unknown energy began to manifest. As it progresses, you can hear how this power gradually releases, producing an intense roar that shakes everything we know and everything that exists.

The remix, created by /beyond/, is an interpretation that not only relates to the original work but also offers a different perspective from an introspective and experimental angle, exploring contrasts between delicacy and power, silence and noise. For our Tale VII we host a mix by the Spanish, Berlin-based artist N01R aka María Silva. N01R is both dj and producer and she is also a very curious and creative mind, exploring other fields; such as photography, video and collage. On March 15th, she will be releasing her second album, Ancestral on the label Nøvak.

The N01R project was born in 2005, with the release of five tracks on the New York-based label Machinekunt. In 2010 she published her first track Noise Gen on Audiotrauma.

Since then N01R has not stopped and she is now counting numerous releases on labels such as; Cold Beats Records,  Unknown Pleasures, aufnahme + wiedergabe, Nøvak and Infidel Bodies, collaborating with the artists Huren, Katran, Delusions and Assassani. N01R is a project that combines the genres of  dark ambient, power noise and minimal-wave, with analogical roots influences. N01R has taken her music to museums in several cities, exhibiting experimental music installations and projections. She will combine lights and sounds, putting the visitor in a dark room, filled with sounds composed by her and allowing them to interpret what they are experiencing, in their own way. Her aim is to make us think about ourselves from a philosophical point of view, as well as make us aware of the importance sound in our lives.

Maria has an amazing talent to blend styles and she mixes techno with EBM and sometimes electro, her sessions are well known for keeping the dance floor in constant movement and energetic beat. She is also the owner of the Pulsate Radio Berlin, for the Floob platform, where she hosts Berlin-based producers and djs, supporting the scene and creating new connections. We will catch N01R playing in March at Teorema Festival in Berlin.

We love Maria's world and she is the Tale VII or our Red Series.
