Send Data is a South African podcast that aims to be an exploration of modern cross-cultural collaboration in a digital world.

In this second episode, Richard Rumney connected with Lakei, an emcee, producer and all round talented artist from Cape Town. Richard made an instrumental beat in his Joburg studio under his electronica project alias, Low Violence, and sent it to Lakei to write to. After Lakei sent back lyrics recorded in his own home setup, Richard completed the track and released it as 'Jus Vibes' as a part of a recent Low Violence EP release (https://soundcloud.com/maramza/sets/just-vibes). The two artists chatted and shared their general approach to making music and their feelings about online collaboration.

Speaking in genres, the sounds here range from kwaito, house, future beats through to experimental gqom, lo-fi, downtempo and electronica.
