Digital Diamonds feature ASH ROY in this episode. Ash Roy’s two-decade career has established him as one of the most progressive and respected artists in techno. His style blends minimalism, techno, and a touch of psychedelia, elegantly tied together with percussion. Active in Germany and India’s underground scene, he’s performed hybrid sets across Europe, Australia, the USA, and Asia.  His releases on labels like Dark Face Recordings, AlpaKa Muzik, Trapez, Techgnosis, and many others showcase his deep love for minimal techno. Ash has earned recognition as MyFav India's 'Best Techno DJ' (2014), VH1 Sound Nation's 'Best Electronic DJ,' and 'Producer of the Year' at MyFav awards (2015 and 2016). His work has been featured in Mixmag, Rolling Stone, DJ Mag NL, Faze Mag, and Euphoric Mag.  Ash debuted at Netherland’s Awakenings in 2017 and returned the following year. In 2019, he performed at Esoteric Festival in Australia, kicking off a 6-show tour. He played on Turmbühne at Fusion Festival 2021 and debuted at Wurzel Festival, Germany.  In summer 2022, he performed at events like Hai In Den Mai Festival, Fusion Festival, Master of Puppets (Czech Republic), Château Perché (France), and many more.  In 2013, Ash launched Soupherb Records, now India’s top minimal techno label, with over 130 releases from global artists.

Boom Festival 2025 was our very first time and it was a truly magical experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt something shift inside us. Boom entered our bodies, our minds, our hearts and it will never leave.

We fully immersed ourselves in everything Boom had to offer: the music, the atmosphere, the art, the deep connection to nature, and most of all the incredibly warm, open-hearted people. The love and energy we felt from everyone around us was beyond words.

One stage in particular stole our hearts: the Alchemy Circle. The vibrations, the music journeys, the artists we discovered there, it all left a deep imprint on our souls. Much of our music originates from the hallowed grounds of Boom. That's why it was a blessing to now experience this music up close as a dancer, as a Boomer ! 

Inspired by that experience, we decided to join forces and create a tribute mix dedicated to the Alchemy stage. It features new tracks from DJs we witness live and felt amazed during those unforgettable days & nights. Each track is a memory, a feeling, a piece of that transformational week.

Boom was not just a festival, it was a gateway, a pulse, a profound reminder of what it means to connect. We’re endlessly grateful to have been part of it. This tribute is our way of saying thank you and to say hi again to all fellow Boomers who where there !!
