About the mix Sybil said:

“For this mix I wanted to capture the icy freshness of January, a month filled with new energy, bright skies, and winter’s introspection. Inspired by a trip in the mountains: cold alpine air, glittering snow, and vast expanses of rock nestled amongst forests of pine trees. I also wanted to bring the sonic feeling of my Deep Mind Music (https://soundcloud.com/deep-mind-music) mixes into a techno format. A mix for daytime deepness, spiralling upwards on a shimmering journey through the sky.”

Recorded at Wonderfruit Festival on 18.12.23. 

Steering in a slightly up-tempo but still deep'ish pace, This was a closing for the Catch 428 stage that took place on a Monday morning from 3-5:30 AM (right before sunrise). The stage was powered by Void Acoustics "Incubus Edition'- a truly powerful system.

Undoubtedly, catch 428 throughout the weekend was a special adventure that was shared together on the Thai countryside & will be an unforgettable sonic experience engraved in our memories. An extended thanks to Ouissam, Atsushi san, Aki san and the Catch 428 team.

In closing, as DVS1 recently quoted - 'The Soundsystem is the Headliner' :)

Guest mix from @raleigh-harmony , one of the founding members of Harmony Rec. A drivey clubby mix infused with uplifting trance and deep wiggly bits. Some forthcoming tracks from the Harmony Rec label sprinkled through. 

@harmony-rec are known for their community minded DIY events across Prague & Berlin, creating site specific audiovisual experiences. Their sound traverses through deep squelchy techno, lush trance and various other undefinable genres bubbling in the underground.

The Harmony Rec crew came into the @fbiradiosydney studio ahead of their debut Eora show for @purespacefm & @transitions_ts and we chatted about the DIY parties they've been throwing Czech for the past 10 years.

Whomp head-honcho ANNX joins us for the latest edition of the Fuaim series with a club-ready blend of psy-tinged rhythms and prog rollers. 

Anna has gone from strength to strength in recent years, appearing on lineups with the likes of Above Below festival, Gloria @ Macadam, and many many more. Her sound is refined beyond her years, showcasing sounds of stripped back progressive and psytrance proving her relentless skills as a digger.

Her talents as a promoter are no less. Co-running the Whomp party with Lora Mipsum, and more recently perspectives.ldn, she has become a staple for psychedelic music on London's club circuit.

“With this mix I wanted to create my usual slow burning set of hypnotic weirdness filled with deep bassy psychedelic sounds and rhythms. Trance, deep techno, electro with some dub influenced uk bits in there too”.

The lovely French pixie @bambi-dj for #154. Based in Paris, she has a mostly show on @rinse_france & is a regular resident at both the wonderful Macadam Nantes & @@hypersoft_bln 

Her sound is textured, kaleidoscopic & unearthly - full of surprises but somehow always warm & inviting.  She has been an exciting artist to watch blossom in recent times. A. perfect fit for the Animix series.

@ysksaske is with us from Kitakyushu, Japan. He is incredibly active in his community, opening a club “sound space” in Kitakyushu curating nights that edge on the deeper and more experimental side of electronic music. His own sound blends deep hypnotic techno, obscure and trippy wiggly oddities 🌀
