This beat was pretty long to flip cause of the way the hi hats were in the sample, loads of 16 and maybe even 32 note rolls, which made it a bit tough to sequence whilst keeping a consistent tempo. I had to really experiment with what drums I used cause some sounds would clash with the drums in the sample, defo glad I took my time with it cause I'm really happy with how the drums ended up sounding on this one, think the overall groove and mix is strong.

Been a minute since I posted,
I'm still working on my projects and tapes - it's a slow process given my work and studies, but it's moving forward and I'm super excited to eventually get them finished and have tapes rolling out, whether it's lofi, or hip hop, or even some attempts at trap & different stuff, I think you guys are going to enjoy it.
