Spent a while working this one out - I wanted to be sure on the best vibe to focus on when remixing this. Overall I think the song is meant to be quite light hearted, it's a nice romance story between DOOM and the mic, very interesting concept and it's cool to see this use of personification in a positive way so early on in his discography, which DOOM then expanded on and went all out with on My Favourite Ladies. 

Hope people enjoy this mix, can't believe it's only one week now, premiere will go live next Sunday straight after I drop the final single before the album drops the day after.

I don't often remix artists from the 2000s, but I'm always open to doing it, and in this case as soon as I heard how the acapella sounded over the beat I knew it was a good fit. Very different to the original too, 50 cent has a great presence vocally and his style blends well with this kind of beat I think. Imo 50 cent is a great artist too, actually the first Hip Hop album I ever bought was 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin'' on CD, album still holds up mad well too. My brothers big on him too, put me onto a lot of his more underground stuff from the 90s, loads of gems in his discography that's for sure.
