Wow time flies… I played my very first dj set in front of a crowd exactly 25 years ago. I used to practice in the basement of a youth club every week because I couldn’t afford my own turntables. When playing my first gigs I was shaking and was so intimidated I could barely speak. Honestly, it’s still the same even if I’m able to hide it now. If I wouldn’t feel this nervousness and excitement any longer I would let it go and quit. 
Since we are still not able to celebrate properly I prepared a podcast for you with my current favorite slow tracks. 
I think it’s perfect for the upcoming summer vibes, for listening at home and dreaming about festivals 🐈💫🌈❤️🦄

Grateful to have been part of the Wurzelfestival family and to have played my first set on the Märchenwald Main Stage.

I played at 8AM on Friday, and I'm truly thankful to everyone who stayed up that late-or got up that early-to share that moment with me. We swapped the morning coffee for our usual tonic.

The energy and spirit of festivals in Germany feel truly unique-spiritual in a different way.

Es war ein richtig wilder ritt 🎢 - die Sbahn hat gebounced dass es schon eine challenge war noch die Knöpfchen richtig zu drehen 😄 Das Set ist eine richtige reise von bouncy zu treibenden minimal techno, über psy techno bis hin zu einer flockigen Landung im Indie Dance. Danke für dieses wunderschöne Closing auf diesem zauberhaften Festival zum Saisonstart! Und danke an alle Mäuse die bis zum Set wach waren oder extra früh aufgestanden sind. Ihr seid die besten 🫶

Playlist for a Free Flow Conscious Dance. The invitation was to explore what beauty means to us, and how it moves us. For me, it is soul-deep, and therefore personal - I sense it as an internal quality of being. And it is often linked to the heart, to love - when we love something or someone, we find it beautiful. 

But to explore further... Do we have certain expectations of how beauty must show up? Or can we find Beauty in spaces/experiences that are not necessarily easy, or do not meet our preconceived expectations? Can we expand our sense of beauty in order to amplify it in a world filled with wars and all kinds of atrocities? Can we cocreate a beautiful world, together?

Pic taken by me on a recent trip to Bali. The island and the warmth of the people, the abundance of nature and the overall sense of devotion filled me with a deep sense of Beauty, which inspired the invitation for this dance.

Ektoplast's upcoming EP Entre-temps traces a quiet arc between past and present. A moment suspended in the in-between. Born from long sessions in winter rooms and riverside solitude, the tracks mirror each other like siblings, growing side by side, shaped by shared silence and shifting light.

A quiet search unfolds to become an endless chase. Just a steady surrender to sound, to repetition, to moments of clarity softened by waves of doubt. At times, a strange sense of déjà-vu lingers, a gentle murmur of something once felt, just out of reach. In the balance between motion and stillness, between echo and origin, something like refuge begins to take shape.

Premiere: Ektoplast - On-dit (Original Mix)

It felt very special to play on an artwork I helped build, deep in the South African desert. The sculpture—a pregnant woman lying on her back— represented a symbol of peace and unity. A place of rebirth. A space for transformation and release.

I wanted to play a downtempo set that honored that feeling. It is a compilation of some of the tracks that touched me the most since discovering downtempo in 2020 (including one of the very first downtempo track I ever danced to).
