Compost Theory aim is to to create music that helps to relax the listener and to recycle thoughts and emotions. Although a big fan of music such as dub, jazz, ska, blues, and electronica we try to borrow ideas from these styles rather than to make each track easily identifiable as being from a particular genre. Compost Theory combines original sounds including live drums, percussion, guitar, bass and keyboards with found objects as well as playing with lots of effects and a large, old mixing console.
