Autumn Colour (432Hz)

Hey….. Whatcha been up to lately? I’ve been outside working in the yard and garden. Reminded me of this old ranch hand who lived down by the river a couple decades ago. One autumn, he dug out every last quack grass root from his large garden and then died shortly thereafter, leaving a weed-free garden behind, for someone else that next Spring. I’m not too far behind him as far as digging out quack grass roots goes. In my spare time, I have been fumbling about on Ukulele. Luckily for you, this is not another Ukulele Song. Hahahaha. This song probably would have never happened if it wasn’t for a string buzz on the low E string. All music and vocals are by me and my slide guitar. This is a new realm of musical exploration for me. There are some recent slide ideas on this that I had been working up, but they never seemed to gel until now. Ah….the serendipity of a buzzing string in the life of a struggling musician. Not so long ago, Bri’s wife and kids found an old box of reel-to-reel tapes whilst clearing out their garage.  On one of them we found this, a song we believed had been ‘lost’.  It was like finding buried treasure.  
We owe a big thank you to Shek Kamari at Core Arts (https://soundcloud.com/coreartsmusic) for all his help in restoring the old 4-track tape to it’s original clarity.  
The final mastering is an Unwritten Production (https://soundcloud.com/the-unwriters) - grateful thanks to them for such wonderfully skilled work.  
The track almost sounds as if it was recorded yesterday.

Thanks so much Mamoru for the joy of singing on this emotional beauty, just superb sensitive work from you, and very inspiring your take was.
There are a couple or so of distortions in the recording, for my snowball mic can only cope with so much, and even though I did several versions after this one and managed to reduce these distortions, they did not have the same feel, even though technically they were clearer.
