With that kind of pace, it’s inevitable that some tracks get left behind, songs that were written, recorded, but ultimately didn’t make the final cut. Not because they weren’t good enough, but simply because the band had too much to choose from.

Now that the dust has settled after the release of People Of The World, the band—together with their label—took a moment to revisit what they lovingly call “the ball pit.” A collection of tracks that, upon relistening, made them stop and say, “Wait, how did we miss this one?” The result? Gems Left Behind: seven songs that deserve to be heard.

Think of it as a bonus, an unexpected encore. A closing chapter that stands strong on its own.

A good album deserves a follow-up. A great one demands expansion. That’s exactly why People Of The World, the acclaimed second album by Amsterdam-based indie rockers Moving Into Tucson, is getting a Deluxe Edition – out July 25.

The original 12-track release captured the hearts of fans and critics alike with its melodic charm, lyrical depth, and genre-spanning energy, moving between upbeat pop anthems, intimate ballads, and punchy rock tracks. Whether you want to dance, reflect, or sing your heart out, People Of The World delivers on every front.

Now, the Deluxe Edition adds three brand-new, previously unreleased songs and takes things even further with a bold reimagination by U.S.-based production collective Concrete Beats. But calling them "remixes" would be an understatement. This isn’t just a fresh coat of paint – it’s a full rebuild from the ground up. Vocals are re-recorded, structures flipped, and the spirit of the songs completely reinterpreted. As frontman Erwin puts it: “They don’t remix. They reinvent. Concrete Beats goes savage.”

London’s Song 1 couldn’t care less about being original. Or about what you think. Their music? A shameless tribute to everything they’ve ever loved — from 90s alt-rock to 00s indie anthems and back again. They’re not copying, they’re honouring. Not stealing, but levelling up.
