🔻 Personal Reflection
I wrote “Within the Maze” during a time when I couldn’t tell if I was healing… or hiding. The maze is real—it’s your head, your heart, your past. Sometimes you think you’re getting closer to peace, only to hit another wall made of doubt or memory. This track wasn’t about resolution. It was about staying with the feeling long enough to find something true inside it. The lyrics aren’t meant to explain. They’re meant to echo.

This one came out fast, but it hurt in slow motion.

the word "overdose" implies that there is a common safe dosage and usage for the drug; therefore, the term is commonly applied only to drugs, not poisons, even though many poisons as well are harmless at a low enough dosage. The term 'overdose' is often misused as a descriptor for adverse drug reactions or negative drug interactions due to mixing multiple drugs simultaneously.

WARNING...This track is seven and a half minutes long. But the "guitar" solo which ends the song is a must hear. Suno has really made this track something special for me. I wrote this song with a uke on my lap,  and developed the 8-bar chord sequence which constantly repeats thru' the song. This goes a long way with the lyrics to defining the song. It starts slowly and quietly, but soon continues with an anthemic intensity.. I gave no specific prompt for the long, very long outro solo. Nearly  a minute of superb guitar and a final soft section of piano arpegios, bringing one of my best song to a fianl end.

A cover of Midwife's incredible track "Vanessa". Madeline is a huge inspiration to me, and this track might be one of my favourites her and of all music generally. I hope I came close to doing it somewhat justice with this cover ♡

On this sixth, focus is on the electronic side of her spectrum again with a wide arrange of productional delights and surprising use of instruments creating a mysterious atmosphere.

"I came across a short story. It’s called Summer Solstice by Nick Joaquin. The story discusses femininity in such a powerful and whimsical way, it peaks, it burns, it utters the phrase, “My dear boy, you still have your mothers milk in your mouth.” I still can’t think of better words to say to win an argument. ‘Milk’ symbolizes the final word, and how one can wonder and long for the infantile other, especially in the aftermath."
