Themes stemming from PRICE’s performance “The Interesting (sequences)”
in collaboration with Cecile Believe, Bonnie Banane, Ivan Cheng, Thibault Lac, Bully
Fae Collins, Cassie Augusta Johnnysdottir, Tobias Koch and MODULAW.

For each vocal composition the actors exaggerate and amplify ‘emotion’ over the rhythmic
pronunciation of a single phrase .
Reminiscent of pop accapella stems, reflected and distorted, the heavily processed voices
coalesce into canons, harmonies and dissonances with ASMR qualities.
By constantly repeating the mantra “Actual Feelings” throughout the length of the entire
album, the progressively fragmented language falls prey of semantic satiation,
increasingly warped into abstraction.
what remains is a soundscape of glossolalias as if the coherent facade of performative
behaviour disarms itself, lulling the listener into a comfortable Gestaltzerfall.
