Pink Mist was formed in 2009 by longtime friends and family Monty Smith, Stacy Sellers, and Daniel Miller. There was no particular style that we were shooting for, we just played with our toys, and let the sound develop on its own. Most of our songs are developed from improv jams that we record during our practice sessions. Instruments most often used: Electric Guitar, Slide Guitar, Lap Steel, Didjeridoo, Bass, Roland Handsonic, Korg Kaossilator, Boss Drum Machine, Shakers, Dan Moi (Vietnamese Mouth Harp), Piano...

Currently based in Port Angeles, Washington, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Pamela Mortensen has performed with didgeridoo as a solo artist for the past 16 years. Now she is taking a new direction by weaving this ancient instrument with synthesizer, piano and her rich voice to create music of ambient landscapes, lush harmonies and body-moving rhythms. Her compositions and recordings have garnered awards from Seattle Arts Commission, ASCAP and Yamaha Corporation.
