Creative writer, producer, and sound engineer Shaun Cruda brings his vision together with a full length LP out on Tech Avenue Records in October of 2021. The album features an array of sounds and analog pleasures that take you on a musical journey. Shaun Cruda used his LP "Culture" as a platform to experiment with different tastes back in 2019, and to allow listeners to indulge in his imagination. The album's highly anticipated sequel makes a return to the Tech Avenue imprint with the release of "Culture 2021". The LP features collaborations with various artists well-known in the LA underground; Naythan2it, Late Delivery, DZR, D.Zeledon, SamBRNS, First Name Brooks, Dominic Marceux, Rahmos, Jorge Bejarano, and Tony Rafael. Shaun Cruda and his fellow supporting artists aimed to create a fresh and sonically diverse LP that conjures and distills their own personalities and various influences perfectly. Federico Ambrosi continues to cement his role as one of today’s most exciting prospects with a stripped-back release on Hottrax entitled ‘Conscious’. 

Although he’s been releasing music for the best part of a decade the last couple of years have been incredible for the Italian producer having made appearances on Repopulate Mars, Paul’s Boutique, NONSTOP, Stereo Productions, Relief and Sola. Picking up support from the upper echelons of house music, such as Lee Foss, Solardo, Green Velvet, Detlef, and Jamie Jones, the latter now invites him to debut on his Hottrax imprint. 

‘Conscious’ is a rhythmic cut with crunchy drums, squelchy atmospherics and a quivering synth designed to compel crowds into a trance during the afterhours. ‘Analize’ is more robust in comparison: adding more thump to the kicks as a metallic snare, murky spoken word sample and viscous bassline powers everything forward.

Malikk steps up to Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this February with three bumping tracks on ‘Subway EP’. 

Fresh off the back of his 2020 ‘Heu Como Bailar’ EP for Hot Creations, France’s Malikk steps up to sister label Hottrax with a three crafty house cuts. 

Across the EP, Malikk showcases his ability to create energetic and devastatingly effective house music, his signature style of effected vocal chops and visceral percussion on display throughout. Exemplified on the metallic and propulsive title track, ‘Subway’ weaves its way through a series of restrained breakdowns and club optimised trickery. 

‘Do Dat Dat’ follows suit, with Malikk making full use of classic drum kits, rolling snares, and warbled vocals for a versatile and highly playable piece of dancefloor artillery. ‘Paco’, with its staccato rhythms and visceral low end, wraps up the release for another fine entry in the discographies of both Malikk and Hottrax.
