This EP tells the story of how Seabra Monkey crafted his unique sound and style, and he has done it brilliantly. Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his strong debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos’ work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear, Lucidflow, and spclnch, and remixes for Superordinate Dub Waves and Off Records (Belgium).

From the early days of the free party scene from brickworks to caves to beaches Ive been there filling generaters banging tent pegs ,laying cables carrying soundsystems  known as "Jim the WaterMan" wandering the party with a waterbutt and cup on a string hydrating party people for fun and spliffs,to making music with 303s samplers and drum machines,putting on Chill Sites at festivals in Tipis djing till dawn,to having a little club in our bassment with brick dj booth, to being in bands nobody heard of playing keyboards,to ,moving to Manchester partying at Bugged out ,to having our own collective putting party nighs on ,to moving to the countryside ,to having an accident  having to walk with sticks no more dancing the night away,so here still djing in my living room with cool tunes I find with my family and cats keeping it real,I do the mixes for me to play in our van and my workshop,I love to share them with you and to bigup the talented folk who make the tunes ,theres so much cool music out there,Im just doing my bit.Enjoy life its the only one you have :}Jim.....
