Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his strong debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos’ work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear, Lucidflow, and spclnch, and remixes for Superordinate Dub Waves and Off Records (Belgium).

I am a adventurer, born in a magical world of fantasies. My musical journey began in the early 2000s, captivated by the ethereal sounds of acid music. It all started with my father's cassette player, filling our travels with enchanting melodies. Since 2014, I have been pushing my boundaries, striving to elevate my music and honing my skills in sound engineering.

I am enthralled by the sounds of bass and the deep emotions that house, tech house, and acid house evoke. Constantly seeking the unknown, I experiment with new harmonies. But there is something more than just music. In one of those magical night moments, I had a strange dream: a periodic table, but instead of chemical symbols - sound waves and rhythms. This dream became a revelation to me, opening doors to unexplored worlds of sound where every note connects with the elements of nature. I believe that music is alchemy, capable of transforming emotions into sound.

Beyond the melodies, my life is intertwined with the mysterious art of oil extraction. Nature revitalizes my spirit and inspires my music. I draw inspiration from my dreams, where sounds and images intertwine, creating unique musical ideas. I dream of travels, meeting fascinating people, and belonging to a vibrant community of musicians. Ultimately, I dream of being invited to unforgettable parties.

I'm a Venice based producer who focuses on dub techno sounds with bass lines borrowed from techno and deep house, with the final aim to to build a “melting Electronic”: sometimes hypnotic, sometimes raw, sometimes groovy. My releases are available by different labels.
