"My name is Tiago Jaakko and this is my debut V/A compilation for the Almighty Zenon Records.

NO LIGHT WITHOUT DARKNESS” is my own take and personal view on the Z-Sound.

I will guide you into a deep journey through the full array of the Zenon Soundscapes and Aesthetics, a meticulously crafted selection of gem tracks diving through the solid representation of the Z concept of Music:

Dark Prog, Psy-Prog, Psychedelic Techno, Groovy, Glitch & Squelch, Swampy, Doof & Bush, Industrial, Small Talk and all the way to the immersive and emotional Cinematic Zenonesque.

I will be your pilot on this journey we will embark together from take-off to landing and I really hope you can enjoy my ride 🛸

I will lead you as you step into the hero’s journey, the clash between light and dark is many times not clear but blurred: fear or hope, self or selfish… two beings live inside you, the one that’s stronger is the one you feed, so who will you decide to be ?!

The Mythology of light and darkness, the pursuit of balance comes in full circle at the end of the journey, and waiting for you… there is 💛 LOVE 🖤

We are excited to be featuring the long-awaiting live recording of Ben Rama's hybrid set at Illusion Festival 2022 (Quebec, Canada), where he opened for Perfect Stranger for a very receptive dance floor audience. Expect 90 minutes of intricately mixed and layered psychedelic techno, ranging from deep and progressive to the hypnotic-yet-heavy, accented with some on-the-fly percussive and melodic touches.
