We are ecstatic to finally unveil this track in an official capacity - it was written late last summer when Luis M visited Toronto for a very special label party on the Toronto harbour. During his stay, he visited the MYDÄ studios for a few sessions, and instantly we had a winner in 'Brainchild' - an unrelentingly groovy progtech number that showcases the artists' creative hallmarks. Perfectly punchy percussion, a driving bassline and psychedelic touches will have your grooving for days - as the last couple of times these artistic giants have collided have resulted in 2 of the biggest tracks in label history. This is just the beginning - expect a resplendant remix release to follow later this year!

Das ist mein Ding:
Elektronische Stile aus verwandten Subgenres miteinander verweben und abwechslungsreiche Sets konzipieren, die überraschen, ohne aus dem Takt zu bringen.

Meist ist es eine Mischung aus treibendem Techno, groovigem Acid, deepen und basslastigen Sounds. Mal verspielt oder breaky, mal eher düster, rollend und einfach geradeaus. 

Mit meiner Vorliebe für Sounds mit mehreren rhythmischen Ebenen, die ermöglichen, sich frei und intuitiv zur Musik zu bewegen, inspiriert mich besonders der Vibe der experimentellen Clubszene der frühen 90er Jahre. 

Aktueller Sweet-Spot sind 130 bis 145 BPM, 
in letzter Zeit auch gern mal 150 bis 165 BPM. 

Und… auch luftige Bounce-House-Beats, sanfte und loungige Vibes sowie experimentelle Sounds find ich ziemlich nice.

Ich suche Orte auf, in denen Awareness kein Washing-Begriff ist, sondern gelebte Grundlage: 
- diskriminierungssensibel und mit klarer Wertehaltung von innen heraus. 

Ob auf  staubigen Floors, unter freiem Himmel oder bei (kollektiv) organisierten (Club-) Raves: 
Mackergehabe; performative Männlichkeit 
– „oben ohne“ Raver find ich gar nicht geil. 
Als Gästin nicht, als DJ erst recht nicht.

Statt Posen lieber eintauchen und fallen lassen.
Statt hoher Bühne lieber Floor-Nähe.
