About the EP-*
Mahakali (Sanskrit: Mahākālī, Devanagari: महाकाली), is the much revered Hindu mother goddess of time, death and doomsday. 
She is the divine Goddess of the Universe in her most fearful and powerful form. She is also the consort of Mahakala, the god of consciousness, the basis of reality and existence. Mahakali in Sanskrit is etymologically the feminized variant of Mahakala or Great Time (which is interpreted also as Death), an epithet of the god Shiva in Hinduism. Kali and all her forms are the different manifestations of Mahakali. 
Mahakali's origin is contained in various Puranic and Tantric Hindu Scriptures (Shastra). In these She is variously portrayed as the Adi-Shakti-Goddess Durga, the Primeval Force of the Universe, identical with the Ultimate Reality or Brahman. She is also known as the (female) Prakriti or World as opposed to the (male) Purusha or Consciousness, or as one of three manifestations of Mahadevi Durga (The Great Goddess) that represent the three Gunas or attributes in Samkhya philosophy. In this interpretation Mahakali represents Tamas or the force of inertia. 
She is described as an abstract energy, the yoganidra of Vishnu. Brahma invokes Her and She emerges from Vishnu and He awakenes. 
She is the Goddess of time.

The new fire ceremony was, in central Mexico, in pre-Hispanic times, a set of religious rituals that took place every 52 years during the last hours of the calendar cycle called "xiuhmolpilli (ligature of years) to ensure that a new cycle of 52 years begins again, that the stars do not stop their course and that the world does not sink into darkness.

The preparations for the ceremony began in the last five days of the final year of the cycle. These preparations included respect for silence, abstinence from work and purification rituals such as fasting, self-sacrifices. It was believed that during those days the world was in grave danger due to the instability inherent in moving from one cycle to another.

On the last day of the year, at sunset, a procession of priests of the worship of the god of fire Huehueteotl started from the Templo Mayor, the ceremonial center of Mexico-Tenochtitlan, and took the causeway of Tlacopan towards a mountain called Huixachtlan.

Set joué dimanche 6 Juillet sur l'Alternative Stage ("The Pit") du plus en plus connu Ethereal Decibel Festival !

Ce set a été conçu en sachant que j'allez être entre le copain Cirklz et le légendaire Okapi, et autant le début du set était évident, autant la fin pas du tout ... Je voulais faire un voyage de fin des festival teinté de Psygressive et d'Hypnotic Techno pour à la fois danser et s'enfoncer dans nos pensées le long d'un tunnel psychédélique sans fin. MAIS ! Mais en fait, à la fin d'un festival, et en particulier quand Okapi arrive ensuite, est qu'on a pas un peu envie de s'énerver et se s'envoler dans l'hyperespace ? 

La fin du Set est ainsi un peu, énervé, et je crois avoir vu que ça vous a plu donc me voilà finalement satisfait hihi <3 !

Very happy to finaly share with you this EP made between 2014 and 2015. I start at that time to work with a slower Bpm, all tracks are at 120Bpm and tune to A 432Hz. I was producing this in the same time than my "Many Ways" Album as a side experimental project . All tracks have been made during each of the seasons represented , sarting from autumn 2014 to summer 2015. After a long journey we finally decided to realese it on our new familly label Sub.Conscience Records. Thanks to Robert Hundt for mastering and Hmapa Art for the nice cover. Hope you will like it

Born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa. Fausto is a producer and DJ influenced by krautrock, ambient drone and experimental hiphop. In 2016 he debuted on the Mexican electronic scene with his EP "Yo Mismo" obtaining recognition from indie circles that resulted in a nomination for the Indie-O Music Awards for "Best Electronic Album".

Fausto later began to experiment with music for the dance floor with major releases on international labels such as Roam Recordings, Nein, Turbo, Tom Tom Disco and on the national Phisica and Controlla. From the latter was born “Descontrol” with which he achieved an important media noise at the end of 2018.

His sound is driven by psychedelic beats and hypnotic bass lines that induce trance. Whether it is his solo or collaborative work, Fausto has become an icon of the wildest night with a purposeful presence within the underground electronic culture.
