We are ecstatic to announce the triumphant arrival of Swamp Seance Vol. 4 - compiled by Foggyswoggle. With this special Solstice edition, Techgnosis Records' own sonics-slinging swamp mutant conscripts a slew serious artists to assist in summoning some simply standard-setting psytech creations. Exploring the deep, hypnotic and swampy side of the psychedelic techno aesthetic is a hallmark of this beloved VA series, and this edition sees the next step in it's natural evolution.

Spanning 11 tremendous tracks from 16 artists from across the globe, representing those both new and known to the Techgnosis faithful, Swamp Seance Vol. 4 is a guaranteed must-have release of the season. "Ragnar" is a track inspired by the Vikings series, and like the original plot, it carries a mysterious tone and a dark atmosphere that reflects the battles and wars faced by the Vikings. Oriented towards Melodic Techno, "Ragnar" absorbs a piece of Norse Mythology history and brings to the tracks a deep and powerful track capable of evoking the most impetuous gods.

Sangoma Records are happy to announce the new EP by Lemurians.
Veterans, Andy, and Janosch's music has influenced our taste and sound in many ways. Their first two albums Christal Mind (2002) and Secret Message (2004) on Shiva Space Technology are milestones for night-time music. After a few years of silence, Janosch Riemann continues as a solo project, and after a phase of experimentation, he returns with his trademark sound in a modern and contemporary outfit. The main focus of the Lemurians sound has always been groove and depth, making their sound timeless. This EP also contains two collaborations with Cosinus and Daksinamurti and is a glimpse of what else Janosch has in store for us.

We are excited to be featuring the long-awaiting live recording of Ben Rama's hybrid set at Illusion Festival 2022 (Quebec, Canada), where he opened for Perfect Stranger for a very receptive dance floor audience. Expect 90 minutes of intricately mixed and layered psychedelic techno, ranging from deep and progressive to the hypnotic-yet-heavy, accented with some on-the-fly percussive and melodic touches. Comprising 100% Australian talent, this thoroughly inspired exploration of the modern psytechno aesthetic features 9 dynamic tracks that explode with originality. PREMIERE: Harrison Downes - Disconnect (Original Mix)

We are absolutely thrilled to be revisiting one of the most iconic label tracks of the calendar year - the instant-classic 'Brainchild' by label OG's Luis M and MYDÄ gets the deluxe remix treatment from a host of top-shelf talents in Jossie Telch, Matt Dwellers, AXON and Biomass! Spanning wide across the Techgnosis sonic spectrum, three fresh interpretations elevate what is already an apex predator-level original track to new heights, setting the stage for yet another stellar scene release.

The marquee original track, having been written a year ago in MYDÄ's Toronto-based studio, is a super example of sonic synergy, combining the grit and chunk of the preeminent prog-tech duo's unique style with Luis M's groovy tech rhythms and production know-how. Tried and tested on the dance floors as well as over lockdown live-streams, this can't miss tune has already cemented itself as a bar-setting example of proper progressive, psychedelic techno. 

Mexico-based progressive master Jossie Telch is no stranger to working with the original artists - we last saw this superstar producer giving the remix treatment to Luis M's 'Euphoria' back in 2016, and who can forget his 'track-of-the-year' collaboration with MYDÄ, 'Atomicus' from 2018? Well, we are happy to welcome him back into the Techgnosis fold as he puts his singularly unique, dance floor-focused spin on the whole affair.

Last summer we debuted EPs from 2 incredibly talented Australian artists in Biomass and AXON, so it is with great excitement that we unveil their phenomenal collaborative remix of 'Brainchild'. The deeper, more introspective side of the original track is explored as the producers from down under beckon the listener to dive into a hypnotic state, and get lost in the music. This is an absolute treasure of a track.

Lastly, we are pumped for the triumphant label return of the minimal tech maestro known as Matt Dwellers - this well-known purveyor of the melodic and hypnotic side of techno music brings his expertise to the affair, elevating this already killer single/EP to new heights. His signature weaponized, chunky tech style has been missed, however you can look forward to more from Dwellers on Techgnosis in the very near future. Stay tuned, true believers!
