With this special Solstice edition, Techgnosis Records' own sonics-slinging swamp mutant conscripts a slew serious artists to assist in summoning some simply standard-setting psytech creations. Exploring the deep, hypnotic and swampy side of the psychedelic techno aesthetic is a hallmark of this beloved VA series, and this edition sees the next step in it's natural evolution.

Spanning 11 tremendous tracks from 16 artists from across the globe, representing those both new and known to the Techgnosis faithful, Swamp Seance Vol. 4 is a guaranteed must-have release of the season. French producer and live performer who joined Hadra AlterVision in 2018, L-xir is in constant quest of new sounds and perfect mixing, more recently through his psygressive live-act too. This is his last DJ set from Walking Bass Festival, playing just after Talpa, about which he says: "was the perfect moment to close with a massive psy-techno set and to present one of my future productions (Le Satyre - LeSonDuPlacard L-xir Remix), include some of my favorite artists and a playlist of recent songs in the psy-tech world... minimal-deeptech; tech-house; raw-techno, for me the right combination to add real dynamics to this set."

We are very proud to get our tenth podcast from a very special guest from Norway. Faia is an Oslo-based DJ, producer and club promoter who has played in all major parties in Norway and is also regularly booked to techno and house clubs all around Europe. 

In 2018 Faia got into production, and started a collaboration with Duppeditt. They own the label Romklang Records together and are now releasing their music, as well as being signed with Pointzer0 Rec and Music4Aliens. She’s a label DJ for Small Records and in charge of their mix series SmallCast.

Faia loves being behind the decks, and that also reflects the drive, energy and playfulness in her choice of music which is mostly deep, dark, groovy, techy and hard minimal, techno and house. This masterfully compiled mix of dark and dirty grooves is a great showcase of her talent and modern minimal and psychedelic tech sound.

Big Bells Records proudly celebrates a milestone with its 100th release – Reincarnation, a Progressive House journey crafted by German producer Monuloku, with a stellar remix by label favorite Chris M.

Reincarnation marks Monuloku's debut on Big Bells Records, but his musical story runs deep. Behind the Monuloku project is Sven Seib, a veteran producer from Darmstadt, Germany, whose career began in 1995 with Trance productions that found airplay on the renowned German station Sunshine Live. Over the years, Sven's sonic identity evolved — from the hypnotic drive of Trance to the refined grooves of Minimal, Deep, and Progressive House — resulting in the creation of Monuloku.

On Reincarnation, Monuloku delivers a rich, atmospheric Progressive House experience — lush textures, deep basslines, and a hypnotic melodic flow that invites both dancefloor movement and introspective listening. The original is complemented by a remix from Chris M, the Indonesian-born, progressive craftsman whose previous Big Bells releases have established him as a label mainstay. Chris M reimagines the track with his signature deep progressive touch, layering warm harmonics and subtle rhythmic shifts for a captivating late-night interpretation.

Release No. 100 is not just a number — it's a statement of the label's journey and commitment to underground electronic music. Reincarnation encapsulates the sound Big Bells Records has become known for: melodic, immersive, and timeless.

As a longtime fan of the Sabres of Paradise - I was so stoked to hear that there would be a final release of Lick Wid Nit Wit that I decided to produce a remix of this incredible track. The original track was written by Andrew Weatherall, Jagz Kooner and Gary Burns.

This remix samples the rolling bassline with everything else built and programmed around that. I toyed with the idea of adding in some of the Sabres of Paradise - Wilmot samples and inspiration but opted for a different vocal chop and synth melodies.
