Field Of Dreams are Chris Kentish & Alan Mackenzie. Both have produced many tracks on their own or with other bands (Field Theory and D:Ream being the obvious ones!) but fate has thrown them together and they can't stop making tunes! Over the past year or so Field Of Dreams have been gaining support from many of the heavy hitters on the scene without actually having any music released. Their huge remix of Les Crocodiles', 'La Nuit Des Tropiques' being a case in point. That's now been remedied with their recent releases on Pleasure Unit being quickly followed by this monster. Released on their own label and remixed expertly by one of those heavy hitters, Mr Andrew Weatherall, and the hugely talented Mind Fair, this is set to explode.

The Original Vocal mix tips its hat to that 90's indie, progressive dance championed by the Guvnor back then, featuring a heavy breakbeat, huge bassline, dub pianos and panpipes! Then there's the vocalist, Mr Bradley, who sounds, uncannily, like a certain Mr Lydon which may throw some but works a treat. Strap yourself in and enjoy the ride.  Mind Fair drop the pan pipes and most of the vocals, beef up the kick and concentrate on the opening riff, adding a few more drums. Andrew dubs it out adding 808 drums with Al’s vocal repeating throughout.

Technique is a Brazilian electronic music band formed by Alex Tibaldi (vocalist / keyboardist), Robert Tibaldi (keyboardist) and Marcio Vaez (electronic drums, live percussion).

The band stands out for their synthpop sound and their main influences are artists such as Kraftwerk, New Order and Depeche Mode.

Technique - Biography 

 

 

During the 1990's , Alex Tibaldi (vocalist/keyboardist), Robert Tibaldi (keyboardist) and MACHINERY, heavy influenced by bands and artists like Kraftwerk, New Order and Depeche Mode, decided to start a music project. 

 

With the aim to make electronic music the way it was made during the early 1980's, they began to put some songs together. In the beginning were just man and machine, some years later they decided to put vocals, when they originally released their independent debut album titled “Memorizer”, in 2013. 

 

Technique was subsequently picked up by Scentair Music on second album in 2016 titled “Touching the Void” and a reworked version of their first album was released in 2016 again with some new versions and remixes by many producers and bands like Substaat from Norway. 

During the last gigs, Technique decided to have a live percussion in its shows. Marcio Vaez, DJ and drummer as well, was the perfect choice because He has an excellent knowledge of electronic music. 

The first international appearance happen in 2017 at  Wave Gotik Treffen Germany !!
