Lisa’s journey into music began with an early introduction to techno, quickly evolving into a lifelong passion. A self-taught producer, she creates music at her own pace, driven purely by creativity and passion . Her breakthrough came when her debut EP hit the number one spot on the Beatport Hard Techno charts, earning recognition from industry legends like Ben Sims, DJ Rush, James Ruskin, A.Paul, and ANNE.

In 2021, she was invited by Ben Sims to contribute to a special various artists EP on his iconic Symbolism label, and in 2024, she returned with a solo EP on the same legendary imprint. She’s also had releases on respected labels such as Naked Lunch Records, Compound, Black Out Audio, Black Square Recordings, 3MOON Records, Unknown Territory, and many more.

As a DJ, Lisa’s passion has always been vinyl. She has warmed up for Ben Sims and performed alongside industry legends such as Player, Gez Varley (LFO), Tommy Four Seven, Mike Humphries , Dextro , David Meiser , A.Paul , Neil Landstrumm, CJ Bolland, Lady Machine, and Dave Clarke. She has also contributed to respected podcasts such as Mastertraxx and Naked Lunch Records.

Here you can find my productions of electronic music as well as experimental tracks and instrumental beats. My sound is divided into three areas. Firstly, and for the longest time, I produce Techno, which I would classify between Acid, Detroit, Minimal and Tech-House with a hypnotic character and psychedelic elements. I also tinker with experimental electronic sound, sometimes more, sometimes less. And in the third area I produce Instrumental Beats, which can also be licensed for further recordings. Here I move in the sound field of the Golden Era and classic Hip-Hop.

In my mid teens, shortly after the Millennium, I started to get interested in various electronic music off the mainstream. I started to deal with different daw's, sound tools and devices and create my own techno based stuff. Besides that I listen also Hip- and Trip Hop Stuff and started to produce Instrumental Beats in 2020. 

I also created further playlists with selected songs and mixes of various artists and genres from my journeys on soundcloud.

Besides creating music I'm also active in Art - Pencil, Pen & Ink Drawing and also Digital Art - if you're interested, just have a look at my website or social media.

My first intention is to share my work to people who interested in!

DJ Kalin Biography 2020

Kalin hails from the small town of Nova Zagora, Bulgaria. His love affair  with electronic music started more than two decades ago when he got hooked onto this new sound via a cassette tape with tracks from the likes of Snap!, Technotronic, and Culture Beat. During his early years Kalin was involved with the school radio, and helped organize the first electronic music events in his hometown. 

Fast forward to 2008 and you'd find Kalin on the other side of the Atlantic in Philadelphia, USA. He got his first bookings at the Vango nightclub, playing alongside Philadelphia's own Adrock, DJ Nico, Christian James, and Deep C of Tigerhook fame. Gigs at other high-profile venues followed including Lounge OneTwoFive and Z Bar. More recently, Kalin has made regular appearances behind the decks at club Mousai, Front Street Café/Liaison Room, Infusion Lounge, The Barbary and others. When Kalin has made the trip back to Bulgaria he’s played events in Sofia, Plovdiv, and his home town of Nova among others. In July 2017 Kalin had the honor of headlining the Koprinka Open Air festival in the picturesque Rose valley. In the fall of 2018 Kalin was invited to become resident of one of Philly’s top underground techno collectives - Fold Theory.

DJ Kalin indulges in mixing a tasteful blend of raw house, jackin’ tech-house and peak-time techno. His sets are heavily influenced by the technical prowess of DJing legends such as Jeff Mills, Carl Cox and Danny Tenaglia. Among Kalin' favorite labels you'll find Nervous, Stereo, 8Bit, Intec, Tronic, Unity, Transmit, Planet Rhythm - just to name a few. While playing Kalin always strives to create an energetic atmosphere of quality grooves that relentlessly move the dance floor.
