Navigating through the infinite complexities and mysteries that exist within the sonic realm, Michi has sculpted her truly distinct sound. Her hypnotic rhythms will always have tones of defined, sub-heavy low end, punchy drums with lots of groove accompanied by precise doses of melodic and otherworldly tones. Not being from anywhere, Michi’s nomadic lifestyle around the globe allowed her to experience a wide variety of cultures and sounds. Her background becomes apparent through her musical expression, weaving in a wide range of frequencies from haunting melodic chords layered over drivey minimal basslines, minimal techno beats inspired from the 90's, all the way to jazzy house with surprise dashes of breakbeats and left-field, spiritually groovy gangster beats. 

Michi holds an Audio Engineering degree from UCSD and is an accomplished Audio Engineer, specializing in Live Audio Front of House/Monitor Mix Engineering and studio mix engineering and mastering. Much of her inspiration that started her self-taught Ableton journey began through her studies when she was coding and building synthesizers under the guidance of professors Tom Erbe, the creator of SoundHack, and Miller-Puckette, the inventor of PureData. She is also currently working on projects and undergoing a mentorship with Zain Effendi, who is an acclaimed film composer and protégé of the well known Hans Zimmer. Since 2012, Michi has performed in dozen’s of respected venues and festivals both domestic and abroad alongside internationally renowned artists and DJ’s. These artists include Nastia, Pig & Dan, Odd Parents, Maceo Plex, Cleric, Rebekah, Carlo Lio, SNTS, Lewis Fautzi, Drumcell, Behrouz,  Patrice Baumel, Marc Houle, Droog, Silky, Dance Spirit, Steve Bug, Justin James, Kim Ann Foxman, Tara Brooks, Amtrac, AndHim, Andre Lodemann, Guti, Kike Mayor, Halo, and Shaun Reeves to name a few.

Bio:
Josh Brooks began his love for music in classic setting performing as part of the California Young Musicians Orchestra. Unfortunately under financial circumstances he could not afford the lessons and equipment to continue that path. Frustrated but determined he began to explore new outlets for expressing his talents. With help from a dear friend and $150, Brooks bought his first set of Turntables and mixer (2 belt driven Gemini 500s and a Gemini mixer) from there he would grow from Bedroom DJ to a rising force in LA’s local scene.

In 2009 Josh Brooks took a trip of a lifetime to Ibiza. He had the pleasure of learning from some of the greats in electronic music, such as James Zabiela, UMEK, Nima Gorji, Valentino Kanzyani, Matthew Hoag, Lottie, DJ Unique, and more. This gave Brooks the tools to start performing at events and venues when he returned to Los Angeles, and throughout 2010 he established several successful nights performing with local talents; Modus, Mark Faicol, January Black.

2011 was year that marked a transition for Josh Brooks when he performed his first ever set at Coachella.  CBS’s listed him as one of LA’s Best DJs in 2012. Over the years his style and knowledge of electronic music has grown and his wide range of playing and producing music from House to Techno and everything in-between. Early on he performed at  festivals such as; Brownies & Lemonade Present: Camp Trill 2012, the Venice Music Crawl 2013 and Brokechella 2013. From there he would go on to perform at some LA’s premier clubs on multiple occasions such as Sound, Exchange LA, Avalon, Dim Mak Studios supporting acts such as  and more. Recently he has also added some major festivals to his resume having played Coachella for a second time in 2022, at Electric Forest in 2018, '19 and coming up this summer '22, Dirtybird Campout, Lightning in a Bottle, Genius Loci Festival in Baja, and Kanegra Beach Festival in Croatia. It has been a grind but Josh Brooks’ talents are recognized having shared the stage with acts like Sacha Robotti, Desert Hearts, Rüfüs Du Sol, Stacey Pullen, Kevin Saunderson, Darren, Emerson, Danny Howells, Matador, Justin Martin, Coyu, Capital Cities, Cassian, Justin Jay, Mystery Skulls and many many more. 

Josh Brooks has also run the Los Angeles Music Project for 9 years along with business partner MR PUZL. As co-founder of the Los Angeles Music Project (LAMP), an independent record label, Brooks has helped produce, acquire and mentor a plethora of rising local talent. Additionally he has curated a long running mix series that has had the contribution and support of major artists and listeners across the world for the last 8 years and is still going strong today. He continues to be a major part of the Los Angeles electronic community and is constantly evolving to keep with the current trends while holding onto his roots.

Alden is a melodic house/progressive house producer based out of the USA.  Heavily influenced by the underground techno and house scene in Southern California, he began producing his own tracks in 2014.  A lover of renegade techno parties in the Mojave Desert, Alden is producing music to express his love and gratitude for the many amazing people he has encountered.  Alden believes that celebrating the beauty of life through our house and techno communities is a meaningful pursuit.
