Was lethal heading to stiff kittin every week right on your doorstep. Heard so many great Djs from Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Ben sims, Ricardo Villalobos, Dave Clarke James Zabiela the list goes on and on still have most of my tickets from these nights great times in Belfast actually unbelievable 💚

@djbone debuts five new tracks made exclusively for his Mixmag mix, going heavy on Detroit-style techno.

"For this mix, I actually did something really special. I’m premiering the remixes from my Subject Detroit compilation, and I’ve also created five new tracks specifically to play in this mix. There are a couple of other tracks from some amazingly talented artists in there as well. The focus is an uptempo, danceable, but super funky techno mix – not sleepy, not slow – just Detroit style. That’s what I love to do. It’s got to be funky, but it has to have that pace and danceability."

Raised in Bristol, JackWallis earliest musical influences were shaped by
dubstep, punk, and UK techno, shown by his early releases on Darwin's label SPE:C.

Following his move to Berlin in 2017, he and The Lady Machine established Unterwegs,
an imprint to release music from like minded talents, including Decka's
pressurised, raw, and driving techno productions.

Since then, he has released on top-tier labels such as KEY Vinyl, AMTK+, TarHallow
and Reclaim Your City.

Pushing the boundaries of modern-day techno, the quality of his music is consistently
recognised with multiples old-out releases and a growing portfolio of remix
commissions for esteemed artists such as Dubfire. 

He now runs a second label with artist Roseen- Frameworks- where the duo released their debut album "Imaginary Places" in 2023.

His fervent love for analog in the studio translates behind decks. DJ'ing only with
vinyl since the beginning of his career, Decka’s sets not only highlight his clear-cut
technique but a refilled with moments of suspense and tension amidst high-octane
energy, drawing on his extensive knowledge of techno, never limiting him self to just one style.

Born and raised in Queens New York music has always been part of my life. My first love was with rock and roll. It was tough growing up in a Pakistani household because my parents would always look down at my love for music. Taught myself how to play guitar, even looked into how to start my own record label company. I was determined to have a career in music. It wasn't until I graduated high school is when I got interested in Djing. But was more into hip hop, reggae, reggaeton etc. I even wanted to start off in gay clubs. But in 2012 a friend convinced me and my gf to come to an underground club. As soon as I stepped in and felt the bass all over my body and touched my soul I was like WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE! 

Ever since then been doing my research in the house and techno scene. For a year I was following my friend Ababacar to all his gigs, watch how he plays, watched his transition and basically getting schooled by him. A year after that I started in art galleries then eventually made my monthly gig at Chat 19. But I'm hungry for more!! Want to get into producing eventually and hopefully make my mark in this crazy scene.

Hello and welcome to episode #078 of Lehmann Podcast - Frederic Stunkel!

Born in Bavaria, the extravagant and extremely versatile young artist found after a long search in the music jungle finally his determination in the electronic music scene. On a New Years Eve party in the Gloria in Regensburg he had his first contact with those sounds, and thus his desire and the pursuit for the perfect sound was born.

Several club visits later, a few years of experimenting withdigital music production programs and various appearances at festivals and clubs as DJ, Frederic finally get his entrance to the producer scene.

His first release “Tres Gatos” appeared on the 7 Years Global Ritmico Compilation and thus laid the foundation for more. A few months later followed his first EP “Lifestyle Preview” with 3 deep minimalistic tracks with which he proved that he’s not only producing in one genre.

The „Customized for Europe EP“ which is released on Italo Business the well known techno label from Dandi & Ugo (Italy) shows us his hard side with some clear techno. But there will be no time to rest for Frederic, it follows a big 3 track ep on Wayward Music (Freiburg/Germany).

Another big groover was his track „Gamble in Space“ released on Yellow Recordings (Stockholm/Sweden) who is been supported from Marco Carola, Dandi&Ugo, Spiros Kaloumenos and a lot of other big names.

New releases and a lot of performances will follow and it is clear that Frederic will go for a driving-techno style in his productions, which can also be heard in his excessive sets that get the dance floors moving.

Thus his way for the night is clear.
