@pureimmanence is the DJ duo of Nick Bazzano (@nmb2115) and @kiddosincere. They are residents with New York underground queer rave collective Unter, where they have been able to craft a sound that includes and entangles psychedelic techno, ambient moodscapes, and experimental electronic grooves. They also hold an eponymous Wednesday-night residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club which just celebrated its two-year anniversary this past July. Pure Immanence has been privileged to perform for and work with various rave collectives and festivals both locally and abroad, including Sustain-Release, Fourth World, Buttons, Pornceptual, and the WHOLE United Queer Festival.

My passion for electronic music began in high school when I started listening to the local electronic station, KissFM, based in Kyiv. I was especially drawn to the trance genre, including particularly 2000s Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, and Above & Beyond podcasts.

Over time, my interest deepened, leading me to explore DJing and, more recently, music production. As someone who has always been fascinated by engineering, discovering Eurorack modular synthesizers was a breakthrough for me. It unveiled a world of endless creative possibilities though sometimes such freedom feels like a curse, haha. I love how modular synthesis offers the flexibility and depth to produce exceptional and unique sounds.

Today, my main focus is on producing ambient music with melancholic undertones, as well as techno, breakbeat, and downtempo. These genres allow me to express my vision and feelings in these times we are currently living through.
