About the Artist:

Carmen Electro is a Finnish DJ who came to love techno while living in London and Berlin, discovering artists like DVS1, Blawan, Dax J, and Hector Oaks who to this date have strongly influenced her energetic selections. 

Over the past couple of years, she’s regularly appeared on Berlin’s HÖR radio, where she’s gained attention with her vinyl-only sets. With exciting updates including international lineups and her first EP scheduled for 2022 with Les Mirabilia, she can’t wait to be sharing her upbeat energy, passion for the dance floor, and pumping music with like-minded ravers very soon.

CX580 is a new creative alias of Damon Bradley, one that protects, elevates, and nurtures old school trance, some modern takes on trance, and the intimate connections trance has with techno. CX580 is light to complement the dark spaces of techno. CX580 aims to unify all the genres under the "electronic" genre, with a mind towards elevating the hearts and spirits of the last remaining souls on the dancefloor. CX580 down-to-earth, unapologetic and relentless with his presentation of trance, hardtrance and techno in between.

Damon Bradley is a veteran electronic music enthusiast, DJ and promoter. Originally from Philly, Damon is the creator of TechnoFist, Katalyst, and is one of the creators of SEQUENCE.

Damon has opened for the likes of Shifted, Ben Damage, Exos, and Phase, and closed for legends such as Jeff Mills, Luke Slater, Perc, Tommy Four Seven, Headless Horseman, Stranger, Milton Bradley, and The Gods Planet. Damon's favorite spot in the lineup is closing- always wanting to leave a strong, energetic impression for the last remaining zombies on the dance floor.

Damon’s influences span a broad spectrum of electronic music, ranging from ambient to industrial techno, groovy and soulful house, and melodic progressive trance. He curates the TechnoFist Facebook Group, which was created in 2013 and now is a community that has over 3000 members.

In 2016, Damon teamed up with Ron Jackson, Jacob Knibb, Associate and Juana to form SEQUENCE, an ambitious underground techno event series in Washington DC.

Elad Magdasi has long been entrenched in the rave scene, first and foremost, as a dancer.
It is precisely this edge which can be felt in the emotional fabric he weaves into his productions.

It is his love for raving that keeps his mojo running whilst bringing inspiration to his life.

After moving from Tel Aviv to Berlin in 2013,
Elad evolved and ended up founding his own label - Front Left Records.
The label is a collective of friends who dance together and celebrate techno weekly.
All the releases come from artists who share the front left corner of the dance floor.

Diversity is the key in Elad’s sets, keeping the old and the new combined and making sure you hear some synthesizers.

Whilst @daniwhy-lie may not be familiar to London audiences, it’s certainly not the case in the South West of England where she is rapidly building a name for herself.

A DJ and selector, Dani’s energy and onstage presence moves through a captivating mix of genres from underground bass-driven dance music to techno, house, breaks, psytrance, electro and more.

Raised in Bath but currently immersed in underground electronic music culture in Bristol and London, which has lead to residencies with Bristol's most inclusive and progressive brands. Dani prides herself on working with promoters that create parties that promote queer expression and sex positive safe havens that are constantly pushing the boundaries in electronic music and our culture.

Volume 03 of the Northern Groove Association Podcast comes from London based rising star PAIGE.

PAIGE made her entrance into the music industry co-running and curating event
and label, Night Service Records. Her approach to DJing draws influence from her dance-floor experiences and crossing club-focused genres frequently. Her energetic style often involves combining tribal infused tracks with groovier, harder techno sounds.

As well as recently curating a takeover on HÖR Berlin, following her debut late last year, she has also played regular shows on KINDRED radio, Rinse FM, Balamii, Munich based Radio 80k and Foundation Fm, as well as various other streams and events in clubs and venues including Fold, Tate Britain, Renate Berlin, Corsica Studios, Patterns, and Phonox.

We are thrilled to be welcoming PAIGE to make her debut for the Northern Groove Association at the DBA on 10/09/22 and based on this funky tribal infused mix, we can't wait to hear what she will unleash.
