BIO:
Bobby Byrne and Brian Fellman met in Summer 2019 while pursuing parallel musical endeavors in Philadelphia. Byrne, an Irish native, has a background as a live-sound engineer, songwriter and producer of hip-hop, indie and rock genres. Fellman, born and raised in Philadelphia, fell in love with electronica over 20 years ago by discovering new sounds, finding new artists, and getting lost in discographies and b-sides.

An organic friendship quickly formed over respect for the music and blossomed into a working relationship based on the desire to create a fresh new techno sound for the underground in Philly. By combining live elements of synths, controllers, and effects modules with a techno-focused DJ, the duo are able to create a hybrid, fully-improvised performance by feeding off each other’s talents.  

FOR TECHNOFIST:
The mix is heavily inspired by TechnoFist itself; we’ve been fans of the camaraderie, historical knowledge, contributions, and level of professionalism the group has embodied over the years. Although we try to not take ourselves too seriously, we spent a significant amount of time sharpening our performance until we were comfortable it met the TechnoFist standard.
