Luigi Madonna returns to Drumcode a year after his superb single ‘Primo’ using familiar hooks, huge stabs and monstrous drums that storm across the dance floor which, are common with Mr Madonna. The hard hitting raw vibe of this EP gives Luigi an edge, with fluttering high’s and saturated lows, Luigi’s tracks are a mainstay in all DJ sets. The EP encompasses different emotions throughout that can be felt within the track ‘Singer One’, offering a more mellow side to Luigi’s already expansive catalogue.

A symbiosis of two young Italians, brought together by the same passion for electronic music and minimalistic Techno, which has successfully been going on for years now. Their first release on Polar Noise, one of the most prestigious labels in Italy, came pretty soon.

By now several hit tracks followed on renowned labels such as BE AS ONE, TRONIC, SUARA, DIRTY STUFF REC., KIARA, KLING KLONG, SCI + TEC and RAWTHENTIC. Macromism's Debutalbum „Superheroes“ was released on TRONIC, the label of Christian Smith, in Deczember 2013. This grandious album is quite technoid and references Macromism's well-known early minimal influences. Without a break, but still with creative ideas, they continued their studiowork and their reputation gained big till today.

Inaugurating the new Magnum Opus series of limited edition vinyl EP’s on Khemia Records are two dynamic young producers at the vanguard of future techno - I Hate Models and Vittorio Di Mango.

On the Solar Side I Hate Models delivers Cyanure Dance an epic voyage full of emotional intensity, stretched across an insistent acid bass line, psychedelic punk-wave distortion, stratospheric arpeggios and ethereal vocals courtesy of the artist himself.

On the Lunar side Vittorio Di Mango presents Epilessia aimed straight to the jugular, a peak-time dance-floor destroyer constructed with machine gun precision over crystalline snares and opiated vocal reverberations.

Between them they form the Nigredo Edition.

Zadig empieza a interesarse por la escena rave en los 90. Rápidamente se hace un hueco en la escena pero después de cinco años de mezclar hardcore y acid empieza a tener la sensación de estar demasiado encerrado en ese sonido. Ya no se identifica con este entorno y decide convertirse al techno, un estilo mucho más básico, pero también con más amplitud de registros. Empiea a quedar subyugado por la influencia de Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram o Surgeon, así como por los sellos  Synewave, Lost o Tresor.

Al trabajar en la tienda discos conocida como Matos Dj Store, la famosa tienda de música de  Bastilla, conocerá a gente del séctor muy interesante como Mathieu Berthet, un ingeniero de sonido independiente, que además es distribuidor de vinilos y  experto en música electrónica. Este encuentro se convertira en una amistad verdadera y de rebote  Zadig recobrará su interés en la creación de música. A continuación, se arma de valor y se endeuda para crea su propio estudio casero, armado con un sintetizador Juno 106, TR-808 y TR-909.

Su amistad con Mathieu Berthet le permitirá introducirse en el sello Plastic Rec en el que publicará su primer lanzamiento orientado hacia el sonido Detroit, Visión. Zadig llega a un acuerdo de distribución con Syncrophone. Ese es el comienzo de una historia de amor con con la tienda de discos que publica su Dark Nebula en 2010. Este disco es considerado como su primer paso importante en términos de producción y le permite firmar con Sino (sello de Technasia). El maxi P.8 le va a permitir mayor visibilidad internacional.

 Zadig funda casi inmediatamente Construct Re-Form con la que publica material de tres DJs talentosos como son Antigone, Voiski y Birth of Frequency. Zadig se convierte entonces en un label manager de lo más astuto que ofrece asesoramiento técnico y, quizás lo más importante, el apoyo humano necesario para seguir en el mercado.

21st May sees Spain’s established DJ/producer Roentgen Limiter make is debut on Fatima Hajji’s distinctive techno imprint, Silver M, with his brand new EP, The Prophecy.

 

Hailing from Barcelona, Roentgen Limiter has spent more than a decade experimenting to make his musical style unique and has performed in hundreds of clubs around the world. His recent releases on labels such as DSR Digital and Wumping Lab Records have stormed Beatport’s dark / hard techno chart and now he’s back with one of his best EPs to date.

 The essential offering comprises of three stomping techno gems ‘The Prophecy’, ‘Take You Down’ and ‘Return To 90's’ which take the listener on a dark but uplifting journey of intense drum programming, twisted synth melodies, dramatic sound effects and alluring vocal samples.
