This a bait-and-switch remix of Pascal Michael Stiefel’s song as heard in the 2017 video game “A Hat in Time.” Instead of the normal melody, an adapted version of the Backpacker Theme from Pokémon Black and White is used, known as the “Hiker Dance” in The Runaway Guys community. An except is featured in the “Peace and Hiker Dance” segment by PhoenixGirl1.

About the Album
Every year, The Runaway Guys host a charity stream marathon called The Runaway Guys Colosseum, featuring video games, art, music, skits, and general chaos. Donations from this marathon go to Direct Relief, a nonprofit humanitarian organization that provides emergency medical assistance in the United States of America and around the world.

About a year ago, I was invited to join The Runaway Guys Colosseum Animated Bunch (TRG CAB) to help out on a community project for the 2023 event. The goal was to create an animated bumper to use in between the event’s many segments that encompasses the spirit of The Runaway Guys and the many in-jokes spawned over the years. About 30 people in total from around the world collaborated on this massive project, including animators, illustrators, musicians, editors, and voice actors.

I created 3 songs for 3 of the animations used in the bumper and provided musical assistance when needed on other animations. In the end, this project was a massive success, and I’m very happy to have been a part of it!
