TM8 Q: How did you go about putting this mix together?
A: "This is my first mix after a 7 week break and I really wanted to test out new sounds that I feel connected to. I’m really vibing with tracks that are layered, with lots of different elements. I feel like this mix is one of many reasons why I love electronic music"

Riva is a London-based DJ, producer, promoter, and core member of the @daytimers_uk collective. Popping off on multiple platforms at the moment, from @hoerberlin Radio, @rinsefm, @mannidee's Silk + Steel party, and now, our very own TM8 #26, Riva will also join us at our upcoming summer party. Combining her background in classical music and jazz, her Middle Eastern heritage, and her life experiences living in Hong Kong and South Africa, Riva composes stories through her music and DJ sets and firmly follows a genre-free sound. For our 26th mix, Riva pens a twisted tale of ethereal beats, booty boppin' basslines and crystalline vocals.
