Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: PSL

Hailing from Barcelona and residing in Berlin, PSL has been quickly making waves and heating up dancefloors throughout Europe and North America, becoming one of the most exciting and sought-after names on the scene.

His distinct sound landed him the coveted title of resident at FLOORGASM, as well as inclusion on some of Europe's finest lineups: closing De School in Amsterdam, Tresor in Berlin, or Primavera Sound in Madrid.

His productions as well as his sets are full of sexy and bouncy basslines, punchy kicks, and groovy percs that make sure to maintain the energy high but keeping it sensual and steamy while navigating through a wide array of genres but mostly Techno, Breaks and a splash of Latin rhythms.

Always keeping the crowd on their toes as to what's coming next he never fails to ignite and bring the heat to whatever dancefloor he's in charge of.

About the mix: 
This mix is a good representation of where I'm at musically at the moment, I'm even soft-launching one of my next tracks in it. 
These days I'm gravitating more and more towards break-techno, tracks that use silence as another instrument in clever ways that keep it exciting and fresh while at the same time maintaining a strong punch and moving forward :)

Composer, producer, and DJ dragongirl has recorded a mix for us featuring some of her own tracks too. Having released her critically acclaimed debut album 'hot blue' on the Norwegian label Sheep Chase Records in 2023, dragongirl has since brought her vibrant sound to some of Northern Europe's most well-known clubs and festivals including Denmark's Den Anden Side, Berlin's OST and OXI, and Kaleido Festival. Her sets blend trance, techno and happy hardcore with influences from Eurodance, gabber and EDM, inviting her audience on a playful and unexpected adventure. And that's exactly what dragongirl mirrors in this week's mix.

Uruguayan DJ and producer YOZY supplies a shape-shifting mix for us, oscillating between experimental and broken rhythms to 4/4 techno and irresistible trance classics. The Barcelona-based artist also includes tracks from her upcoming album, dropping June 5th. Having released several contributions to VAs on Clan Destine Records, low income $quad, and Last Love Records, they have also delivered music to Human Club; a label based in Barcelona's Razzmatazz, where they are a resident DJ and run their own party CALIENTE. Additionally, YOZY has played for parties and festivals like Boiler Room x Primavera Sound, Raiders, Suicide Club, Voight-Kampff, Latineo, and many more. Plus, their monthly radio show on HKCR called 'Messages from the stars' has recently transformed into an IRL ambient showcase.

Sevyn0000’s (@sevyn0000) set from our FOLD event in May is now available to listen back to in full. The New York-based producer and DJ shared a textured set with us that night, layered with psychedelic rhythms, spacious sound design and crunchy percussion. In addition to excelling in live sets, DJ Ali is a passionate DJ exploring the realms of Trance, Tribal, and percussive techno, bridging sounds from the past and present.

“In this mix I explore different sub genres of techno. The tracks I play are some of my favorite to play at the moment, some are bright and some are dark. A Lot of this mix is based around the theme of rhythmic and percussive techno highlighting the essence of the early 2000's style of techno. Some old, some new.”

“Mauro aka “DJ Saliva” is a multi-talented artist, working as a painter, visual developer, labelmanager and DJ. As the label-manager of Herrensauna Mauro is curating the trademark visuals and artwork of the brand, label and it's events. Next to being a Herrensauna resident, Mauro is as well the founding member of Porto based queer party "Arena Spa Superiora". 
Musically DJ Saliva brings together a hybrid fusion of old school & hi-tech new school sounds. From up-tempo electro & breaks to trippy & hypnotic tribal materials."

"Fado, mellow whispers, beth gibbons, psychic tv, melancholic guitars, final fantasy, lee gamble, unreleased songs of mine and more.

The tittle of this mix was inspired on Inês de Castro, a Galician noblewoman who fell in love with Prince Pedro of Portugal while he was married to Constança of Castile. After Constança’s death, Inês and Pedro lived together, which alarmed the court. Fearing her family’s influence, King Afonso IV ordered her execution in 1355. After becoming king, Pedro took brutal revenge by having Inês’s killers executed and their hearts torn out. The Quinta das Lágrimas in Coimbra is traditionally believed to be where Inês was killed or wept before her death. The Fonte das Lágrimas (“Fountain of Tears”) is said to still bear the stains of her blood.

I’ve released many dance mixes, but this one is for the mornings when we wont leave bed — to sunlight peeking through blankets, to the purges, the tears, the retreats, and the quiet return to lullabies and sad songs for recovery."
