We are proud to present our new release by Detroit veterans Keith Tucker & Anthony ‘Blaktony’ Horton. 

One of underground music’s most enigmatic characters since the mid-80’s, Anthony 'Blaktony' Horton first appeared as a member of the house group ‘Sight Beyond Sight’ (Submerge / Soul City / 430 West records). Further exposure in Detroit’s underground presented him memberships within various groups and collectives (Optic Nerve / early Aux 88 / Aux Men / Alien FM / Scan7), recording on labels like Direct Beat, Elypsia, Puzzlebox, Trans Atlantic, Minimal Soul, Night Vision and numerous guest features. 

Known mostly for his vocals, writings and concepts, DEMF vet-Blaktony places his producers hat on to release on Technorama Records his new electro project alongside of Keith Tucker, part of the famous electro duo Aux88, who has recorded under several monikers such as Optic Nerve, K-1 or Alien FM since the very early nineties and who has built his own unique style of electro and techno music out of Detroit. 

You can find here two brilliant remixes of ‘The Rogue’, full of trademark Optic Nerve funk and futurism, combining deep techno with haunting vocals and machine rhythms. On this other side, ‘We Are Detroit’ by Keith Tucker keep the same vibe of classic Detroit techno stuff and Delta Funktionen delivers a fabulous remix that finds its place near the solid electro techno sound. 

We are very sure these tracks will devastate the dancefloors. Get re assimilated!

After the big success of the first “Classic Series” by K’ Alexi Shelby, Technorama is back and proud to present a new release by Swedish rising techno producer Santiago Naura aka Bleak.

Releases on Delsin, Secret Sundaze, Deeply Rooted and his own driven label Naura Records have helped him establish himself as one of the new generation of techno producers to watch. Sweden’s Bleak is fast becoming an essential part of his country’s techno new school recognised for creating and pushing that vision that’s integral to transcending your experience into something inspiring.

His personal style of techno is of the deep, hypnotic,hardware-based variety ; that engulfs you and never let´s you go. Here you can find three brilliant mixes, a real package of hard driving, deep, raw and analog techno bombs, including a powerful remix by upcoming talent Stefan Vincent (Traut, Balans, Dynamic Reflection). We started ‘The Classic Series’ featuring tracks that we love, bought, played out and which we have the feeling more people should know about them.

For this second, It is a great honor for us to welcome such a living legend, a pioneer from the Detroit House scene Terrence Parker and the Chicago veteran Ellery Cowles. This project includes two secrets cuts and timeless moments of Detroit house & Chicago techno.

‘Madball’, previously released in 1998 on DaFunk! records, our favorite secret weapons, a real masterpiece of Chicago Jackin’ Techno by Ellery Cowles (Black Nation, Djax Up Beats, Synewave).

‘Welcome To Southfield’, a massive and very demand house instrumental track from Terrence Parker. Released in 1997 on Studio K7! Records and issue from his ‘Detroit After Dark’ Lp.

Edinburgh's techno master Stephen Brown is an artist with a distinct sound, a sound that he has crafted over 20 years from his works on legendary labels such as Djax-Up-Beats, Transmat, Subject Detroit, Theory, Skudge and of course on his own Realtime imprint. His massive release ‘Medusa’ on Technorama in 2014 has received massive support from major players & has been also licenced to Fabric - Eats Everything cd project. 

He makes a come back here and delivers another fantastic track called Deep In which is a structured house track with built in funky vocals. You can find here also a bold & energetic club bomb by Literon, also known under the Gerd alias. Summer vibes, enjoy !

After the funky summer release ‘Deep In’ by Stephen Brown, Technorama records continues to promote diversity & quality music. They are back this time in the ‘electro game’ with this superb release by the French specialist Dynarec. 

Sometimes you have artists that can electroshock you with a very good 12" and then after that they are not able to satisfy your expectations. Dynarec is one of those who is capable to impress each and every time that he delivers a release. Coming from France, Dynarec improves on even the most advanced experimental electro as no one did before, giving it depth, awareness and knowledge, making it more rigid and linear. A journey into those post Drexciya atmospheres which reach some of the highest moments in a new Electro history….. Romantic and complex, rich in detail and unlikely to be imitated or surpassed by others on the contemporary new electro scene.

Technorama passes the torch to Finnish producer Samuli Kemppi who’s built a solid back catalogue over the last 15 years and in that time has also become a pioneer of electronic music in Helsinki. His radio show Deep Space Helsinki (Alongside Juho) developed into one of the cities most popular club nights and also into his shared record label DSH.
