Field Records is to release a two-CD compilation and three vinyl samplers of music from the label's artists old and new entitled simply, Collection.

This second sampler pulls together three tracks of deep, dubby and ambient music from French producer duo Polar Inertia, Remote_ and Sweden's Varg. His track 'Ohns Odegard' is a serene and autumnal bit of ambient with swollen pads and incidental synths making for a soothing atmosphere. Remote_'s 'Echo Of You' is just as wide open and serene but has a warm, rubbery pulse driving it along and finally Polar Inertia gets a little frazzled and intense with their loopy slow techno roller 'Sonic Outlaws'.

This time the Dice have teamed up with vocalist extraordinaire Glasser, which takes them into new sonic territories.
”We were really curious to explore the world of vocals, as this is an area we have never tapped into before.
However we did not want to just slap a vocal on top of a track, but rather try to dig deeper, to make the music and vocals sound as a whole. Let the vocals be part of the machine so to speak. We could not imagine anyone more adept than Glasser to guide us into this uncharted territory."
To complete the collaborative narrative, London based artist Fabio Almeida has provided yet another stunning piece of art for the cover, this time named
Click Clack.

It has been bubbling for almost four years now inside the walls of a basement in the small-town idyll of Salzburg. Word gets around about ecstatic nights in an intimate atmosphere in the Heizkeller location of the cultural association Freakadelle. The monthly events held by the club culture collective, which formed in 2011, have long since become known beyond city and state borders, and so, national as well as international guest artists would frequently pay visits to Mozart town in the last years. Following the club members’ wish to maintain relations to the artists beyond the fleeting transience of a night in the club, this release aims at strengthening and cementing these interpersonal ties. The compilation includes tracks by Hüseyin Evirgen aka Magna Pia (Cassegrain), Institut fuer Zukunft resident Perm, techno pioneer Patrick Puslinger and Pop theorist Didi Neidhart aka Low Profiler.Limited hand-stamped 12’’ edition. Bio :
Terror Cognitive Dissonance is a Spanish artist born in Andalusia, whose main idea is the development of fear of the unknown.
His sound discourse is characterized by the search for different mental states that blur the boundaries between the darkest genres of electronics. The taste for experimentation is latent in his musical proposals, which take place without any established scheme, pursuing both dance and introspection. Its rhythms, sometimes far from a 4-step rhythm, deepen towards other more unknown ones.

The old building sat perched atop the hillside looking out upon the small town below. It had stood, watching, overlooking for what had been a lifetime. Inside great things had happened, people had come and gone. The bells chimed out each weekend but not for very long. Birds whizzed around the tall towers, their wings soared upon the morning air, deep down below the dense green mist glimmered and lingered in the light of the early sun as another day approached. The house stood still. 

Aleksei Nikitin is set to release a new EP on UNDERTHESEA, a record label with an enticing tropical aesthetic but rugged undertones. The EP is a collection of abstract techno, rugged yet beautiful at the same time. It comes complete with a remix from Daniël Jacques, a producer of which we have been a fan for many years.

Over five releases, Stockholm label Mountain Explosion Device had made its intentions clear—to release the absolute best in subtly morphing, psychedelic techno. Its sixth release is no different. The A-side displays rogue frequencies seeping through an ominous office building, as fully automated cleaning bots pass each other through revolving doors. “Skogenräna” adds an addictive percussion-based venture into the feral forests of their native Sweden. The remix comes courtesy of Berlin based
wonderchild Mor Elian. A mind bending desert trip from one of the most exciting producers out there.
