The X Vinyl Series continues with label head Florian Meindl at the helm with the upcoming release Metaphysics. Synonymous with deep, dark techno, Florian does not disappoint with this 4 track EP, enlisting in demand producer and Rabe label boss Denise Rabe on remixing duties. Playing live with his Modular Synth set up, Florian began working on the concept for what would become these three original tracks while playing shows over the last month. The live jam character can clearly be felt in the first two tracks Metaphysics and Holomorphic Function. Florians original Bell's Theorem has a deep melodic structure. With Denise Rabes interpretation, the track is contorted through some serious distortion pedals and broken beat to match her dark take on the synth line. The outcome is an impressive piece for one of those never ending nights in concrete walled rooms with oversized loudspeakers.

For this episode of HEX Transmission, we present an artist that was born with music in his blood: Raffaele Attanasio. Thanks to his father, a musician, he began taking piano lessons from a very early age. Strongly influenced by rap, hip-hop and the g-funk culture, he released his first production: a style characterised by the union of Techno, electronic and classic-contemporary influences.

Not everybody can say to have done a B2B with Jeff Mills or Octave One, but Raffaele did it and wrote a piece of history. Over the course of his career, Attanasio received the support of a large range of appreciated artists in the scene, including Luke Slater, Ben Klock and many others.

With his own imprint Letters From Jerusalem, now let's listen to what he has in store for HEX.

Now the favor has been returned. R&M have taken Marina’s epic Techno original and re-worked it into a high energy EBM/Electro thrasher - taking Marina’s provocative vocal and looping it over raw synths and huge kicks and snares. This is peak time business for all the shutdown dance floors in the pandemic age. For the past couple years Aleksandra has been destroying clubs across Europe with her brvtalizing sound and high intensity DJ sets.
