Always been a great fan of the Oxygene album by JM Jarre. Marveled at how this incredible music could possibly have been made. It has now seen its 40th anniversary and to this occasion I though I'd make a tribute. Recreating (most of) the original equipment using emulations on Mac and iPad. Thanks to JM for the inspiration, all the best, the Shaman.

Been a long time that I posted a new track. Hope you are all doing all right. Here is a new 5-minute space journey. TD style atmosphere, I guess. New studio, new mixer, new gear... similar space vibes though.
Recorded in Reason 10, combining hardware (Korg MS20/D50) and software synths (JPS, Solina, Mellotron, Europa).

At Vance é uma banda alemã de power metal formada em 1998 por Oliver Hartmann e Olaf Lenk. Apesar das mudanças constantes de formação, lançou sete álbuns. Sua musicalidade possui traços de semelhanças com a banda Rainbow; mistura estilos neo-clássicos, hard rock e speed metal alemão. Hi all,
Here is a try at something new. Most of this was produced in Reason 10, twiddling around with a bunch of new instruments/plug-ins/effects. Thank you folks at Propellerhead for the Humana Vocal Ensemble, it sounds really amazing...
Throw in some orchestral percussion, a forest drum, an ARP Odyssey, a Solina string ensemble, a Korg Mini-pops and there you go.
Enjoy this small space movie.
And, by the way, this recording is probably also about getting lost, falling, and landing back on one's own two feet again. So, please interpret the NASA sample metaphorically. All is well that ends with a bell.

We remixed Jaydee’s original last year as something unique for our own DJ sets, however following big support from the likes of Seth Troxler and Art Department we’ve been inundated with hundreds of release requests, and as a result we started the process of trying to license it. When that failed we removed all original parts and painstakingly replicated them ourselves turning it into a cover, and hopefully a fitting 20 year tribute to this timeless classic.
