Carlos Raúl (aka KAUWY) began his electronic music foundation with Chicago house and techno in the late '90s. Based in Phoenix, AZ, he is a resident with Techno Snobs and is known for his diverse selection and deep, hypnotic rolling groove-infused sets.

Marking his debut release on Undertone Records (DC), Carlos crafted a hypnotic and rhythmically entrancing remix for TonalTheory, putting his unique spin on the original track. Much like his DJ sets, his interpretation blends deep, rolling rhythms with intricate textures, staying true to his signature style while offering a fresh perspective, all while preserving the raw energy and drive of the original mix. With this release, Carlos has further cemented his place in the techno scene, performing across Europe, the UK, Australia, and his native Mexico, sharing the bill with renowned artists like Cleric, Tensal, Dimi Angelis, Kangding Ray, Truncate, DJ Hyperactive, and more.
