Blackgroove is the union of a sound paradise between acid, mental techno and a perfect 90s groove to make your hips dance. I want to show in this mix the versatility that these joyful subgenres have, with percussion and sounds that go beyond the future.

Great to be in the mix for Soenda! 
Taking you on a hard yet groovy musical rollercoaster with this one, my mix for Soenda includes some of my favourite artists and contains unreleased work from my upcoming EP. 

I have always liked the more melodic and groovy stuff when it comes to electronic music; mainly picking tracks that make me feel something from within, tell me a story, and keep sticking around in my head. Combing that kind of tracks with hard-hitting sounds while finding the right balance is my ball game. I think listening to a lot of metal and rock music influenced me to the harder styles of techno. When it comes to my new EP, I'm taking the same approach. It starts with an ambient track that sets the tone, followed by 2 tracks that are quite different. The EP is set to be released around the summer, so keep an eye out.

Dextro (@djdextro) has a long track record as an artist. He started to learn the art of DJ'ing in 91 and has a different perspective on music. His residencies in several clubs for over 15 years has forged his name and helped him create his own distinctive brand of music.

Chamo-me João Alves, tenho 27 anos e sou natural de Setúbal, Portugal. Sempre fui amante de todo o estilo de música e tenho sorte por ter tido uma boa educação por parte dos meus pais nesse ramo. 
Comecei a gostar de música electrônica aos 12 anos, passando pelo edm, deephouse até apurar o meu gosto e chegar ao techno. Dentro do techno passei por vários estilos até encontrar a minha praia, o groovy/hypnotic techno. 
Estudei engenharia de áudio e comecei a minha carreira como DJ há cerca de 1 ano. Os meus sets são sempre cheios de energia, calor e ritmos hipnotizantes, sou amante dos decks assim como do dancefloor, penso que seja necessário ler bem uma pista de dança para saber bem qual a música que se deve tocar. 
Todos os dias são dias de pesquisa sobre novos ritmos e novas energias para a minha música, é um trabalho/hobby no qual nunca me vou fartar.
