Perseverance is another word synonymous with Deepak Sharma: an unrelenting passion for music and sharing his sound through a belief so intense, his soul pours out and bears itself within each release and DJ set. Known for a cerebral approach to music, he demonstrates his ethos that DJing is about creating a moment, often through taking crowds on a hypnotic journey and building energy, with a room as one towards a higher peak. While DJing is his calling, his label also requires the utmost care through each carefully curated offering, slowly and steadily building a catalog greater than most accomplishing the rare feat of forty-three releases and counting.

Hidden is a well-established, forward thinking techno imprint based in NYC, curated by Deepak Sharma.

The label is dedicated to releasing vinyl that showcases the full spectrum of the techno continuum, from its earlier works with a distinct Detroit groove to its latest releases which are ready made for play in the darkest and grittiest of warehouses.

In recent years, JC Laurent and Deepak Sharma have taken center stage on the label, combining for 10 releases and accompanied by techno luminaries such as Tadeo, NX1, Developer, Oliver Deutschmann, Tom Dicicco, and Myles Serge. A trip through the label’s catalog showcases a deep connection with the soul of techno with appearances by Perc, Truncate, Mark Broom, Xhin, Kyle Geiger, Jerome Sydenham, Fred P, DJ Qu, John Tejada, Ambivalent, and Jonas Kopp among others. There are few places where this intersection of sounds and styles can coexist harmoniously. Hidden is one of these places.

For nearly two decades, Hidden has been a mainstay in record bags for all DJs, from locals to the stars of the underground.

ABOUT US

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
