Hailing from Berlin, Germany is OCD. As a resident of Gegen Records and Interzone, she finds pleasure in modern rhythms that can create overwhelming emotions. For OCD, it is her mission to go beyond the boundaries of techno and explore its rigidness and rage. 

The ideology behind her sounds is the battle that those face when it comes to anxiety and pain from the world — and in turn, she transforms these fears into works of art. Simply, OCD will bring you into an oneiric state where everything is out of control and too fast — a metaphor of our ages.

Now arriving on Patrick Topping’s Trick, the techno-titan drops two party-starting tracks this November. “I have been following the Trick label for some time, and I really enjoy the variety of music that's being released. It's fun party tunes with character and identity, which I love. I decided to work on a couple of tunes that might fit, the first one being 'I Like It'. It has all the elements of a good old rave tune, and it's been working amazing in every set.

Andrea Zapata is a producer and DJ based in Lima, Perú. She develops in the deep and hypnotic techno genres as well as experimental and their subgenres. 

She always offers an unpredictable ride with a fairly linear rhythm with quirky sounds that create a hypnotic atmosphere along with very subtle changes that manage to bring the listener into a deep journey. She finds inspiration in her feelings and every time she leaves her daily life and manages to have contact with nature.  

Andrea has released an EP ‘Intuitium’ for KVLTÖ Records and has been part of various artists releases in records such as Lindeluft, Orbitando, Indefinite Pitch, Accent Records, Aurora Mistica, and Dorian.

Ramon Tapia was born and raised in Holland, with a Dutch mother and Chilean father – his upbringing had an eclectic mix of cultures which in turn developed and influenced his decision to become a musician. 
Ramon likes to raise his bar and his sound evolves constantly with a new inspiring sound. In 2023 he entered into the Raw Techno techno Top 10 charts with a bang, with tracks like his collaboration with Gaston Zani “Friction” on Planet Rhtyhm ”  and “Circular” on Christian Smith’s  Tronic Music in 2024 .Expect collabs and remixes for Pan-Pot , Hertz and much more.
His skills aren’t limited to producing. He is also a highly skilled DJ, performing for crowds all around the world. He has a special way of connecting with the audience and taking them on an intense musical journey with his rolling /up tempo, raw  sound. So far you might have danced with him on festivals like Tomorrowland, Caprices festival, Drumcode Festival, May Day, Loveland and the list is counting.
With an impressive collection of releases on some of the biggest labels, Ramon decided to start his very own imprint - Say What? Records in 2012. The label delivers a proper dancefloor-ready Techno from respected names and new kids pulling the wagon for the new generation under his supervision.
It all started when he gradually learned how to produce tracks solo, with a foundation in pounding techno and hardcore scene which resulted in several releases and remixes , while going to school to become a gold smith he had a job in Antwerp’s famous record store “USA import” where he sculpted a broad  taste in music and his production skills along the way.
He found his resurgence in the 00’s, forging a new school techno sound with his release ‘Land Of Drum’ on Pocket the sublabel of Music Man, a release on Gayle San’s label Equator and more house styled tracks on New York’s legendary Strictly Rhythm label. That's where his name catapulted into the limelight, becoming the biggest turning point for his career, resulting in a residency at Sankey’s Ibiza for three years, multiple bookings around the globe, rapidly growing loyal fan base and global recognition!

The 76th vurt podcast features a 113-minute live set from Artefakt, the live techno duo from the Netherlands. 
This set by Artefakt was recorded live at Spread in Tokyo, on the 2nd of June 2023. This night was part of the Field Records ‘Floating World’ label tour celebrating their 15 year anniversary. The Tokyo events were co-organised by the Liminal Dreams collective.

세계적으로 잘 알려진 네덜란드의 라이브 테크노 듀오 Artefakt는 닉 라피엔(Nick Lapien)과 로빈 쿡(Robin Koek)의 최면적이고 주술적인 음악에 대한 공통된 애정을 기반으로 시작되었다. 듀오는 폭넓은 프레임-워크(frame-work)를 통해 음악이 연주되는 동안 소리의 질감과 톤을 미세하게 변화시켜 인간의 뇌가 몰입하고 호흡할 수 있는 최적의 분위기를 조성한다. 최근에는 즉흥적인 방식을 기반으로 정교하게 큐레이팅된 콜라보레이션 시리즈 De Stijl를 선보이며 창작의 경계를 확장하고 있다. Artefakt는 유럽, 북미, 아시아 전역에서 라이브 공연을 펼쳐왔으며, 아날로그 감성이 짙은 이들의 무대는 아름다운 선율과 깊은 감성의 테크노를 좋아하는 팬이라면 절대로 놓쳐서는 안될 최고의 공연이다.

At the root of Nick Lapien and Robin Koek’s Artefakt project is a shared love for melancholic, hypnotic voodoo music. Their sound is pensive with deep, rich textures; long track lengths—often six-minutes-plus—give the duo an expansive framework in which to make small changes of texture and tone, creating cerebral, balanced atmospheres that absorb and engage. “Sometimes we just take a short element, like the sound of a falling drop of water, and from this recording we extract the rhythm and use it as a starting point,” they say. “It’s a very organic way of creating new material.” 
After a period of self-reflection, the Dutch duo returned in 2019 to launch a label with a new EP. De Stijl serves as a platform for their musical explorations and those of their close friends. The imprint’s inaugural EP,  Far and Wide, a lesson in dancefloor-ready techno that prioritises mood and melancholy, preceded Monsoon, Artefakt’s second album, this time on Svreca’s mighty Semantica Records. Across eight tracks, the duo evidenced an intrinsic understanding of rhythmic structures, confirming their status as one of the most singular and emotionally evocative acts in contemporary techno. 
As a live act, Lapien and Koek have performed all across Europe, North America, and Asia, their analog-heavy set a must-see for fans of melodic and deeply emotive techno. Drawing on their shared love for collecting records, they also perform as DJs, crafting long, hypnotic narratives laced with exclusive material and records from the expensive collections, old and new. 
Having first crosses paths at university, Lapien and Koek began making music together in 2012. Lapien, whose infectious, swinging house cuts have featured on Rekids, Soul People Music, and DVS1’s Mistress, was just beginning his career as a solo artist; while Koek, who designs his own artistic systems and teaches at dBs Music Berlin, had just earned a Master of Arts from Utrecht's School of Arts, specializing in Sound Design and Composition. After releasing two EPs on the legendary Dutch imprint Delsin Records, in 2017 Koek and Lapien presented their debut album, Kinship, cementing their nuanced, atmospheric style while showcasing its breadth. It was the first big step in their ongoing pursuit to adopt techno as an art-form rather than a genre.

His early sets at CROSSED in Szczecin propelled him onto some of Europe’s most iconic stages, from London’s legendary 414 in Brixton to Union in Vauxhall, as well as countless free parties across the UK’s rave underground. Fast. Impulsive. Techno. Three words to establish and define what the artist known as Egotot is all about. The young musician, hailing from the deep south of Germany, sets quite the pace when it comes to his vision of electronic music, regarding both tempo as well as quality. His beats, be in the studio or in the DJ booth, appear to come and arrange themselves seemingly with no effort. A Rave-infected sonic testing ground without ever feeling like a simple Rave pastiche. A vision of Techno that is obviously inspired by its sound of the 90s, but neither exceedingly aggressive, nor excessively happy.

Egotot has a special taste for rugged, up-tempo grooves which demand their own time to breathe and reveal their power. A sonic all-purpose weapon to be used on, for, and by the dance floor. However, his sense for music doesn’t stop at the edge of dancefloor-oriented Rave. It goes far beyond, right to and through the sometimes more and sometimes less subtle tides of electronic music.

This exemplarily reflects in his very own imprint, Schimmer Records, which he founded in 2019. The label has, in a rather short period of time, already evolved to a sonic reservoir of all different shades, all of which share a commonality – quality in production, love to detail, and an undeniable appeal to avid devotees of electronic music of all kinds. 

There is nothing confusing about Egotot’s take on music. It is clean-cut, it is straightforward, it is always effective. The Industrial clout, the fast groove, the merciless rigor – this is how Techno should sound in the 21st century, and Egotot is its perfect avatar.
