Andre Salmon returns to Hottrax with his latest EP ‘Satisfy My Bass’ alongside FreedomB & K-Mack. 

Arritmia label boss Andre Salmon has become one of the most prolific rising names within the house sphere with material on prevalent imprints including Repopulate Mars, Rawthentic, Too Many Rules, and Sola. Having featured on the label alongside London-based talent K-Mack last year, Jamie Jones' Hottrax imprint reveals another fruitful collaboration from the pair alongside a further collaboration with Berlin's FreedomB for 'Satisfy My Bass'. 

Salmon and FreedomB open the package with 'Yes, I Like Bass', an energetic peak-time affair that fuses rolling rhythms with robust chords and Jordano Roosevelt's alluring vocal chants to great effect. 'Satisfy Me' with K-Mack unveils another floor-filler, as Cami Jones' seductive vocals combine with trippy sonics, precise percussion and sweeping atmospherics to transport listeners to the early hours.

London-based duo Leftwing & Kody deliver their first outting on Solid Grooves Records with their ‘Sound Boy’ EP, featuring the banging tech house anthem of a title track.

Following releases on Truesoul, Relief, Knee Deep In Sound and their own Lost Records imprint, Leftwing & Kody are broadening their reach once again by gracing Solid Grooves. Their music has been the focal point of dancefloor stomping club nights for the past five years and this next release further showcases their jacking motif.

By utilizing a legendary vocal sample from an old-school garage classic, ‘Sound Boy’ is made for peak-time moments. Booming bass, hard hitting percussion and whimsical, whirring sirens make for an infectious tune with strong dancefloor appeal.

Look for the ‘Sound Boy’ EP to be release June 30.

Solid Grooves Records co-founder Michael Bibi drops a pair of infectious tracks that feature his own vocals this September.

Michael Bibi's perpetual rise over the last two years can be credited to his idiosyncratic style, as heard in his appearances on labels like VIVa MUSiC, Lost Records and Criminal Hype. Having just made his debut at fabric where Solid Grooves took over Room Two, both Bibi and his label continue to raise the bar; cementing their reputation as a driving force behind some of today's most exciting house music.

A twisted intro makes way for raw sounding percussion and rumbling bass in 'Smoke Signals' before Bibi's infectious vocals come into play. A catchy production from the off, 'Playzone' once again features Bibi's voice whilst a moody low-end, crunchy snares and various samples and effects operate throughout.

Rising star Ben Sterling has already garnered huge support from label co-founder Jamie Jones. Moving into 2019, the talented youngster makes his debut on Hot Creations, delivering three punchy, high-octane tracks this February.

The EP kicks of with Surrender - a track that shows no mercy with its heavy drums, hedonistic vocal hooks and a rolling groove. On title track The Energy, Sterling layers breathy vocals over a driving bass, perfect for those 3am losing your mind moments. EP closer, Apathetic Behaviour, is pure unadulterated after-hours fodder.

One of the original residents of Josh Butler’s Origins series, Ben Sterling has had tracks signed to Butler’s label of the same name where he joined greats such as Kerri Chandler, Groove Armada and Huxley. Last year saw the young DJ play at the infamous Warehouse Project alongside KiNK, Dennis Cruz, Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed and Marquis Hawkes. He’s performed at some of dance music’s leading events including Paradise, Elrow and Kaluki. In 2019, Sterling shows no sign of slowing down with events already locked in for Printworks, Hideout and Snowbombing.

Jack Whitworth lands in style on Roush with No Kicks, an impressive single that closes our intense month of July. Following another great single track on acclaimed CUFF label, Jack Whitworth drops his first cut with us knowing that he's getting a nice support from big names such as Latmun or Detlef. He also runs his own label Sulko and plays regularly at Casita, an interesting party that takes place in London. Regarding to his Roush debut 'No Kicks' opens things with a nice 909-rimshot swinged pattern that goes evolving with subtle delays to make it more interesting. An acid bassline appears at the half of the track adding an spicy touch to such a nice production. The vocal shout placed before drops gives tension that is nicely resolved with the cymbal rides.

Jack Whitworth - No Kicks? - Roush Label

K-Mack debuts on Techords with the impressive two-track 'Crazy' EP. With previous releases on a variety of labels including Repopulate Mars, Material & Percomaniacs amongst others, the London based artist brings his sound to the label, backed up by Piem's remix.

Title track 'Crazy' opens things up with a fierce rhythm since the very first beats. The captivating bassline builds a great momentum but then, addictive vocals and bright chords are being added to keep the listeners hooked. Next up is the powerful b-side 'Poppin' cut, which closes K-Mack's debut in style with a fantastic old-school house groove.

Finishing off the EP is Piem's remix. The Spaniard has garnered a reputation as a very exciting name in the underground scene, due to his releases on some of the biggest labels in the industry such as Armada Subjekt, Relief, Stereo Productions & Glasgow Underground, and it is with great excitement that we welcome him to the label with his simple and effective remix of the title track.
