Seldom in life can we find creative chemistry with others that allows us to travel to new levels otherwise achieved alone, but Matt Enos and Enrique Negron (MEEN) have found just that as these Orlando-based DJ’s take off from humble beginnings into the eye of the scene. This locally grown producer/DJ duo has ascended quickly up the ranks to becoming one of the city's favorite residencies currently syndicated with up-and-coming promoter, record label and artist collective House Keepers Records. Together in the studio, they form a collaborative being bringing inspiration found from experience having interactions with various international artists, and time spent experiencing different moments at cornerstone events all over the world; combined a long, deep-rooted passion for the art of producing. The Sur Veza EP releasing on Tech Avenue Records is a fun filled pair boasting a tropical rhythmic energy, and a pure peak-time sound that will hit you deep in the soul. The Tech Avenue team took keen interest in releasing with these boys after falling in love with their Only Jams mix series, and we couldn’t be more excited to present to you the sounds of MEEN.

Argentinian native Funk Off keeps our 2022 schedule moving as he makes his Black Seven Music debut this March with a killer two-track release - Roller. 

Blossoming out of a region renowned for its Deep & Tech House artists, rising talent Funk Off (AR) continues to make strides in the right direction with a stream of impressive releases on well respected electronic imprints. Adding to that tally, he touches down on Black Seven Music for the first time with a duo of emphatic dancefloor-ready stompers - what an introduction!

‘Roller’ is first up, bringing along a heavyweight arrangement and boisterous persona that you won’t forget in a hurry. Thumping drum work and crystal clear percs build the perfect blend of punch and flow, whilst roaring sub-bass adds even more movement to the depths of the track. A hooky rap vocal flows throughout, whilst a secondary vox is twisted and stretched alongside a climactic and sawing synth - before hammering in another furious drop and pushing you back into its groove. 

‘High Wire’ comes next with even more cadence and energy. Driving rhythms take charge from the outset, with a strong core of kicks, bass notes and sampled hand drums keeping you plugged in. Another dominant rap vocal features heavily in the bridge sections of the track, whilst rising melodies build suspense - leading to compelling dives and plenty of robust grove-focused segments.

Timeintosh EP is a sonic glitch in the system — a 3-track electro transmission from Mike The Connector, where analog pulses and digital ghosts blur the lines between memory and malfunction. Each track feels like a snapshot from a corrupted future, locked in endless loop, refusing to fade.

The journey begins with Timeintosh — a mechanical groove that ticks and turns like a warped metronome. It’s Mike The Connector at his most precise and paranoid — fusing classic electro roots with his own futurist mutations.

Next, Infuse brings the raw energy — sharp drums, spiraling synths, and tension that builds without release. It's a track designed for underground detonation. MAD.AGAIN takes that foundation and flips it upside down. His remix is rude, rough-edged, and full of distortion — transforming Infuse into a snarling electro beast running loose in a power plant.

Memory Card closes the EP — a cold and skipping beat structure layered with robotic tension — as if the machines are remembering something they were programmed to forget. LASSE TOP steps in with a remix that dives deeper into the circuitry, slowing the pulse and stretching time itself. His version is eerie, minimal, and drenched in delay — like a data stream drifting through space, waiting to reconnect.
