Warm, open, and grounded, Cairo-based DJ, Zeina crafts and curates music that is as expressive and creative as she is.

With a slow but steady commitment to building community around music, Zeina has spent the past 15 years between North America, Europe and Egypt exploring the vast space where house and techno meet.

Currently residing in Cairo, she's set on building a place for female electronic musicians with her 'Unfamiliar' night- aiming to cross- pollinate talent and influences from the cities she's lived in.

My Favorite Robot Records has been a strong force in underground electronic music since 2008.

The Toronto based label is an offshoot of the act “My Favorite Robot” formed earlier in 2002 by Jared Simms and Voytek Korab.

The label has managed to consistently release quality music by some of the electronic dance world’s most renown producers such as H.O.S.H, Kenny Glassgow, Jori Hulkkonen, Eric Volta, Sasse, Fairmont, Tiger Stripes, Tim paris, Chymera, Sid Le Rock, Tim Green, Clarian, and My Favorite Robot themselves just to name but a few and there is no slowing down for them!

Signed to No.19 Music, Teeloo has been a purveyor of fine music for over a decade. Throughout the years, he has been able to evolve as a vinyl connoisseur, expanding his musical palette as he traveled to the far reaches of the world. It is this experience, intimate knowledge of the dance music scene and the ability to articulate any genre or style that makes Teeloo's sets so interesting.

With the majority of the club DJs of today playing and buying from the same bins, Teeloo's track selection has more history, blending 70's rare groove and latin, 80's soul and electro, 90's trip hop and the latest minimal tech house. With such a diverse palette, his style is not easily defined, nor is his eclectic taste in art limited to music selection & programming. His studio work is anything but ordinary, taking cues from broken beat, ambient techno, house & funk to make up a sound that can only be described as something cooked up in Teeloo's Kitchen.
