Biography 

Bathed since his childhood in music, DAGAN aka Sunset starts to spin his first records in 2007 under the tutelage of Ora Kan.

His music is strongly influenced by his travels in Latin America and Middle East: an eclectic collection of melodic and powerful electronic sounds and rhythms, drawing from the vital energy of the people behind them.

Each of his sets wants to be a place of peace and play with the audience, in other words a collective session of joy and reconnection with themselves through music.

Mooky Musik Recordings is a concept by artist Michael A Smith created in 2011 on Souncloud, and evolved from there to other social media platforms.

Michael is a folk singer-songwriter, digital dj/producer, digital music artist, abstract artist, multi-instrumentalist and a mental health music coach.

Mooky Musik Recordings is a  colaboration, created with fellow independent artists, abstract artists, electronic musicians, songwriter-producers fim makers etc.

Facilitated to bring awareness of mental health, drug addiction and drug induced psychosis to help inspire others to create mentally healthy habits of becoming addicted tg creativity of making and listening to music, instead of escaping into drugs and alcohol that can make diagnosed or mis-diagnosed mental health worse, and cause pysychosis depression and anxiety from addiction.

Mooky Musik Recordings songwriting and producing music project concept was initially created on Soundcloud in 2011 to help Michael as music therapy for being a  recovering  ex-addict and to help other  musicians in recovery and suffering with their mental health to help with drug addiction and also inspire ex-addicts to make music and art as music therapy!

Michael is on an ongoing creative and musicial journey of self discovery and recovery since 1996, by creating art and music for self-therapy, and to help inspire others who are suffering in silence from drug addiction, mental health problems and symptoms as a coping mechanism in recovery!
In 1996, at the age of 19 years old and a relapse at 23 years old in 2000.  Michael suffered from drug addictions and drug induced pschosis and spent 10 weeks each time in rehab. 
They were the most traumatic experiences of his life as a young aspiring Independent artist, singer/songwriter-producer.

Michael A Smith is on a  mission to help fellow musicians and guide them to their own birthright of inner-peace, mental wellbeing by making and listening to music for self-therapy as coping mechanism to deal with any addiction.

Music/Audio Producer, experimental film/art creator, prophetic bard from the year 2040

Celebrating that which makes us human through rhythm and sound!

Singer-song-diarist Elisabeth Cutler cheekily calls her style &#39;My World Music&#39;.
But it is a world of emotions every one can relate to: Heartbreak and passion,
promises and fears, discovery and loss. Intimate and honest and drawing
from folk, jazz and rock, her songs find unique ways of speaking of these
familar places through the beauty of intense, memorable imagery. It is a fresh
take on an old theme, a poetic dialogue between words and music – and
certainly a lot more than 3-chords-&amp;-the-truth.
As independent as her early inspiration Joni Mitchell, Cutler has always
focused on the thing that sets a good artist apart: Memorable and indelible
songs. &quot;A good song completes the identity of an artist,&quot; as she puts it. To
achieve this complete identity, she has learned from the best: Mitchell, the
Beatles and the Grateful Dead are spinning on her turntable at an early age,
the legendary Ralph Towner is her masterclass tutor. Later, she will spend
formative years in Nashville, collaborating with renowned colleagues and
working as a freelance songwriter.
In Nashville, she also hones her chops on the guitar. Groovy yet complex,
almost banjo-like rhythms start making an appearance, intricate harmonic
variations and &quot;unnamable, odd-shaped chords&quot;. Over the course of six
albums and numerous performances, her collection grows to include electric
guitars and pedals. They all combine into a personal galaxy of sound and
harmony which infuses psychedelic folk with sonic exploration.
After a lifetime of travelling and moving, her current, quiet Italian home is the
perfect space for writing fresh material. Here, the pieces for her seventh
album, Silence is Rising slowly took shape over a two year period. Outwardly,
its sound is cool, detailed and jazz-oriented, powered by funky world rhythms
and enriched by dreamy electronics. Underneath the surface, however, Cutler
speaks openly about her own mortality and the will to live, personal tragedies,
small miracles and the loneliness and isolation which are the unplanned
consequences of her artistic independence and outspokenness.
The themes of her songs haven&#39;t changed, they&#39;ve just come sharper into
focus. If, like Frida Kahlo, she still prefers to paint self-portraits, then maybe
this is because she&#39;s the person she knows best. Each one is different, each
one is bringing her closer to resolving the riddles of her own little world. None
of these portraits would be complete without the audience, however. So make
yourself comfortable, pour a glass of wine – and just listen.
