Estonian artist Monknash performs as both a live artist and a DJ. She has established her sound on alternative stages from home scene to Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam (ADE), Istanbul, and more recently in Detroit (USA). Her debut track Skalapendra was released on the Scottish label Still Distant Records as part of the compilation VA Dark to Black. While primarily performing techno, Monknash also appears in diverse contexts reflecting a fluid and fearless approach to sound going from ambient to punk.
