Silvan debuts on City Bowl Wax Network with Laika, a colourful and lush four tracker exploring complex rhythms, evolving melodies, and carefully crafted sound design that transports the listener into an ethereal realm. Aquatic and intricate breakbeats intertwine with highly atmospheric pads to create a sense of depth and space, propelling the listener through a broad range of imagined environments. Percussive exercises are interrupted by ambient motifs that make the EP suitable for any type of listening environment from the home to the most daring dancefloors. The newly-formed Icelandic record label LAHAR brings you a long-awaited 12" by Den Nard Husher, a collaboration of two stalwarts within the Icelandic techno scene - Octal Industries & Vector. 

After a commemorative EP on Stobelight Network in 2016, Den Nard Husher strikes back with their first release since a 20-year production hiatus. It is enthralling to see how their fast-paced bustling techno renditions morph with time yet still encapsulate our body and imagination in that same meteoric signature. Den Nard Husher sounds fresh, blistering in a seemingly never-ending post-Y2K aesthetics.

Tempestfeather is the electronic music act of Berlin-based writer and creative Liz Marchetti. As a DJ, her sound was conceived in Cairo, shaped in London, and refined in Berlin. Drawing on her diverse range of influences, she likes to mix and blend genres that lean towards a leftfield and bass-heavy sound.

She said of this mix: “It showcases my penchant for the deeper and darker end of the electro spectrum, with a nod to the UK’s breaky and dubby sounds I love. Coincidentally (or synchronistically?), this set connects the dots between my present and past hometowns of Berlin and London. I featured local Berlin producers Parand, Scarlit Port, and Volruptus; as well as UK-based talents Sync24, T-Flex, and Etch. To tie it up, there's a track by fellow Italian artist GAJA too. Geographical ties aside, I’d like to think it’s pretty danceable :)

Melbourne-based imprint Connection Verified (fka Controlled Violence) has been known for being a platform that supports not so known talented artists from around the world and allows them to express themselves through a series of exceptional releases. Here at Delayed, we share a similar philosophy. VA-Solidarity is a Weapon

These are strange times and it looks like the whole world is going crazy. At least that's how we feel when we open the newspaper and follow the daily news.
All of us noticed the news about Nazi networks in police and military, mostly called „Einzelfälle“ with fear and concern. Halle and Hanau shook us. To watch “Querdenker” and Nazis walking hand in hand while the protests for the victims of Hanau where declined made us want to throw up and listening to politicians talking about the threat from leftwing-radicals just made us wonder. Even the orange president talked about the Antifa-myth which is complete bullshit. So what does Antifa mean? A short term for Antifascist.
Since we are no longer involved in political activism, we thought we would at least make a small contribution and support activists in their struggle.

So we started asking our friends if they wanted to contribute a track. Everyone jumped right on the bandwagon, which made us super happy and in a few weeks we even had more tracks than initially planned.
So you can expect some weird ambient-spheres, stompy club hymns, dolphin-trance, classic piano-house and even some dub-grooves.

We hope you enjoy the music as much as we do.

So who is “Rote Hilfe E.V.” and why does the money made with this compilation goes to them? This organisation puts the main focus on the financial and legal support of left activists who face repression in Germany.
