Sometimes within a dream they speak
Or in the ticking brain a thought revives them.

I am thinking back to the time when for the four of us, the known world hardly existed; days became simply the spaces between dreams, spaces between the shifting floors of time, of acting, of living out the topical… a tide of meaningless affairs nosing along the dead level of things, entering no climate, leading us nowhere, demanding of us nothing save the impossible— that we should be. 

Justine would say that we had been trapped in the projection of a will too powerful and too deliberate to be human— the gravitational field which Alexandria threw down about those it had chosen...

Intimate jam got me this bass theme, which I developed with geometrical tones and fractal rhythmic, and offered to my old friend Negative Headphone. You should know his fabulous response on any musical style, and here is a proof of it. Enjoy!

SORROW (part 1)

He climbed down
and arrived at the clearing. 
He built a meagre structure and Lived.
A small coyote
occasionally came to watch
hiding in the morning grasses.
The river went, and he drank from it. 
The suns came. He hunted. 
No longer haunted. The leaves changed. 

He walked out, one day
up the path to the city gates. 
As he peered through
as he had done a hundred times or more.
He felt a trembling in the earth below. 
The same earth from which she was derived. 
She began to chip and falter 
and in the gentle rain, she shed tears
until, seemingly, all at once
she escaped her enclosure, and changed. 
Above the rubble, stood a woman
warm in the flesh. 
Free to move and bend. Alive again! 

In her hand, was the key
and wrapped around her neck
was a single pearl 
and she looked up into his eyes
through the gate, and approached. 
She, somehow knowing of his straying
and stays. 
In the rain, the last dust of the key
departed the iron, and rejoined the earth. 

She turned the lock. 
The gates opened, slowly. 
She embraced him. 
The rain stopped 
and he entered her city of light and life. 

Petrichor on the breeze. 
Hiraeth fades. 
A new beginning. 
A life worth living.
